Nice pic...I'm a dumbass for not waiting around. The banter was very funny last night, and I was happy that it was a good crowd...polite but still loving every minute (and not ruining all the quiet moments with 'wooos'). Another thing I remembered this morning is that Jeff called Forget the Flowers "dogshit."

I didn't write down the full setlist, but I just want to say: PIEHOLDEN SUITE!!!!!!!!!! ^ Thanks to a request from a girl in the crowd who said she drove from Birmingham. Other highlights were Mountain Bed, Cars Can't Escape, New Madrid, Hesitating Beauty, Radio King, and an impromptu Immigrant Song with awesome crowd participation. The whole thing was great, Jeff was hilarious and charming. Couldn't have asked for a better show. Also, to SarahC.

Why oh why couldn't this be on a weekend?!?! That's going to be an awesome show, I bet.

For some reason, I'm waiting until the official release to listen to the whole thing...but goddamn, I'm excited.

I'll be in Chicago from February 26-28. Somehow I always end up just missing these things.

First listen...I'm a little behind.

I was once 'From Rolling Stone,' and it wasn't anything

I only saw half of the first episode. I bet the "real" Rolling Stone interns really fucking hate the MTV people. -
Happy Birthday Kidsmoke and M Christine

Anyone have a SBD version of Don't Fear the Reeper?
Elixir Sue replied to imsjry's topic in Just A Fan
I don't have a soundboard recording of it, but I have 2 versions that sound okay to me...maybe they sound better than your version: From October 31, 2004 (the first time they played it?): http://www.sendspace.com/file/z25x4x Not sure of the date of this one: http://www.sendspace.com/file/iof6cy -
I know a scary picture has already been posted, but I can't resist: Those teeth!! That's my only contribution, I'm afraid. My knowledge of Van Halen is limited to "Jump" and the fact that they played the hell out of "Right Now" back in the Crystal Pepsi days.

Oink sure picked a crappy time to shut me down. When does it come out, Kyle?
-
The Ryman show was pretty relaxing, huh? You might want to take some No-Doze before the Tweedy show...
-
I guess they didn't drop off the face of the earth, after all.
-
Where'd you see that?

I'm way back in Row L, but it's a small theater...it shouldn't be too bad.
