I find interesting to see the reaction of the board. I'm hoping the sounds of silence are indicative that people aren't on.

The boys aren't a 'younger up and coming band'. They are a dynamic, mature band that has found its audience and niche in the music world. The future for them does not hold selling out stadiums. The future for this band is to continue to be the best working America band heading toward being the greatest American band.

I kind of follow a Miltonian world view...it is better to headline in medium sized venues than open in a Stadium. Rolling Stones fans won't immediately go out and become Wilco fans.

The Goldsmith Brothers have a great band. These guys are young and they progress nicely with every release. These guys are almost a part of the Wilco family...Pat played on their first record.

The inauthenticity of Edward Sharpe I always took as intentional. Alex Ebert is doing a commedia del'arte thing...it's all a part of a greater performance. The messianic Edward Sharpe and his band of musical hippies. Very contrived but purposefully so...the music being so catchy simply adds to the picture for me.
