I'm not sure if it's expected or not. I don't think hotel staff get paid any better than wait staff.

What about hotels? Do you leave a tip for the staff that clean up your dirty towels and make your bed? I try to rember to leave one but they hardly ever see me, I hardly ever see them, and you are always tipping before you get the "service".

Sounds like you have thought long and hard and made a difficult decision. I really hesitate to give anybody else advice but if you have decided yourself not to settle, I believe that's the right decision for you. I had tickets to see Led Zeppelin in Buffalo in 1977. Robert Plant's son died and dates were cancelled. I returned the ticket to get my $7.70 or whatever it was back but I wish now I had kept it.

April 3 this show starts running in Canada on CTV. Looks like it will be Friday nights.

I ride a touring bike I bought at a used store. I ride to work 5 days a week about 8 months a year. I rode all year round for a while but fell on ice once or twice each winter and I'm getting too old to fall now. So I'm out of the saddle until about March.

What made me think it was faked was right near the end when Dave says "too bad you couldn't be here tonight" and Joaquin breaks character and totally cracks up. That behaviour wasn't at all consistent with the act.

The fact that Bruce was writing something possibly for The Ramones in the early 80s is pretty amazing. Thinking back to that time, most people wouldn't have linked him in any way to the punk movement. But yeah, the way I recall the story is that he originally wrote it for The Ramones but after hearing the song, Landau said it was too good to give away.

Isn't it more of a merger than a takeover? At any rate, they will use the Ticketmaster technology. That's the part Live Nation needs. Say what you will about TM but anybody who can sell out 10 or 15 dates of a tour, 20,000 tickets per date, in an hour or less, have a pretty sophisticated technology. But yeah, this does not bode well for concert goers.
