Well, sorry to say this but in a situation like this, the first person I think about is myself (I got tickets from MusicToday too). I can't access my hotmail account from here so I don't know if I got one of these messages as well...... Unless I'm locco, there's absolutely no way they "reconfigure" the first row in Massey Hall. The only thing I can imagine is that with 3 ticketing agents on this show (MusicToday, Ticketmaster and Massey Hall themselves all selling seats) they sold the same tickets twice. Really sorry to entropy. That sucks huge.

Yeah, I think you are. When I go into the presale sitem, I can find Edmonton listed there and it looks like it goes on sale at 10 your time..... I don't see Calgary up yet.

Did they include Paul Anka in a group referred to as "iconic"? Surely they meant "ironic"? Stompin Tom wrote more songs about Canada in 1973 than Paul Anka did in his entire life -

Neil Young? -
You could make a pretty compelling argument that it is superior to Misfits and Sleepwalker, so yeah, my list is incomplete at best.

I watched the "gaydar" episode of The Office last night.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of these albums by the Kinks: Something Else The Village Green Preservation Society Arthur Lola vs. the Powerman Muswell Hillbillies Sleepwalker Misfits I also happen to be very fond of Soap Opera and Schoolboys in Disgrace but lots of people will tell you they suck, so be warned.

I would give it another try and/or try another record. I'm not familiar with that one but there are about 700 Kinks collections so it may not be their best material....

I've never had to sign for MusicToday tickets. They just show up in your mailbox (or at least they've always showed up in my mailbox)

This was my first thought too, although more melancholy than out-and-out depressing. Has nothing to do with the video or the loss of anything......

Thanks for the review. For anybody waiting for email from the "fan club", I don't seem to be getting any. I found out just by chance that there's a Montreal show in August (weeee!). -
Welcome to both of you. Super first posts

As a general bit of advice, practice, especially if you're using something "new". The above advice on the phone system is quite good but don't make your first call at 10 am when tickets go onsale. Call a few days early and try to buy tickets for something else.... For systems like TM, there are many steps to go through before your order is finalized. So try buying the Amercian Idol tour - get to know how the automated phone system works and how to get a real operator (usually pushing "#" about 16 times gets a real person on the phone) - for example, that way you will learn that is takes a

Well I guess the joke's on them 'cause I'm driving a Dodge Grand Caravan (whoops - maybe the joke is on me after all)

I'm not even going to look back (that's how well I think I know this thread) but I think you posed and re-posed.
-
I haven't received mine yet. You should have no problem selling those seats.

Na. Writing a jingle for VW is tantamout. "Jeff Tweedy (or Wilco) says drive a VW" is tantamout. 99.9% of the people who see this ad will never know (or even think about) where the song came from. I don't see that as an endorsement. And anyway, don't you have a job, and a wife and baby at home

Sorry if this has been suggested already, but maybe Jeff was encouraged by Spencer to go this route.

Er, Bruce has never had a "farewell tour" and never sold tickets for $275 (notwithstanding private fundraisers). If you can show me an example, I'll apologize. PS: I visited your profile and love the paintings! (You're still wrong about Bruce)
