You're so smart. I mean observant.

What exactly does this mean? Anyhow, I wasn't too disappointed to see my cowboys lose to your squad. Especially after blowing that 21 point lead against Texas last week. I'd like to see y'all win a championship.

Thanks. I recommend them to anyone who hasn't seen them.

I enjoy Bob Dylan's XM show - the Cadillac theme was pretty cool - I don't get what is wrong with a man promoting something he likes - I guess it aint cool

I saw a great show last night and I'm feeling really good right now. I wish I felt this way after every show I see as I do get out quite frequently. So I decided to put together a small list of bands who moved me to feel the way I do today - bands who I want to take all my friends to see next time around - artists who inspire me. Here's my short list of late: The Hold Steady (last night) David Rawlings Machine Ween Old Crow Medicine Show Yo La Tengo Rush Wilco Banyan (w/Nels & Watt) The Wiyos

That wasn't funny. -
I was pretty impressed by the camera work and the editing. It was also great to see my friends, Lydia and Kylie right after Jeff waves to the crowd at the conclusion of On and On and On.

I like that record The Crane Wife -
Sometimes I go to shows alone. I met my new pal, Sarah at a show that both of us were at alone. Now we go together .

I picked it up on vinyl at Amoeba for $20.98. Unfortunately, it's missing disk 3. Kinda pissed but they said they'd credit me within 7 days but I live 40 miles away and won't be up there again until after the 7 days. I'm still enjoying what I have of it.

Los Lobos doing 'Billy 1' is my favorite so far. I've really enjoyed just about all of this. Not too many duds in my opinion. Thanks, Maker.

I agree that OK Computer is their best album and one of the greatest records of the 90s, but I'd still recommend starting with The Bends and working forward. Pablo Honey can wait.

I will be able to cope, too. It's just that Oink was so easy to find everything I needed at the bitrate I wanted. Soulseek takes way too much time and a lot of the times the files are corrupted, incomplete or low bitrate.
-
I look forward to seeing them at Fun,Fun,Fun Fest next weekend. Anyone else going?

I feel like I've been thrown out on the streets with nowhere to go. Soulseek is like living with gutter punks.

I could use some love, too.

I bought way more records because of Oink than I would have otherwise. I just stopped buying crappy albums.

This has been a strange week. My brother and his family & my best friend and his family were both evacuated from their homes in North San Diego County, a friend of mine in North LA County had fire threaten her home, and my hometown (Irvine) was threatened. Luckily, none of the people close to me suffered losses but I feel pain for those who have. It really makes me sick to see how careless people can be. On my drive back to Orange County from San Diego sunday night, I witnessed cigarettes being tossed out the window by motorists on 2 separate occasions around the Camp Pendleton area. How f

I saw them last fall and it ended up being the best show I saw all year. It was at The Fonda in LA and the band played a raucus set to a very warm crowd. I was impressed with the fact that they played some requests at the end and played until 2am. Most bands quit around 12:30.
