I'd be willing to bet that your odds are better getting 3 points from 49 yards than they are for getting a first down on 4th and 11.

The mediocre Giants beat the overrated Patriots?
-
That was a great 4th quarter! I'm impressed especially impressed with Eli's poise in the pocket, avoiding the sack on that pass to Tyree. Game changing moment. You gotta hand it to the Giants D though. They did an outstanding job.
-
Bummed that I'm going to miss them as they swing through Southern California. Especially since my friends Colourmusic are opening for them.

Chris Berman is such a super nice guy

Berman hates kids, too. He has been known to curse at children and say "scram kid" when they ask for autographs. This is the one ego in sports broadcasting that I'd like to hang a loogie on. -

It was kinda a joke. I was just seeing how many okies would catch that one. Actually, for some unexplainable reason, I like PC. I think it's because Enrique's Mexican Restaurant is there. I also like camping at Kaw Lake. -

My friends Colourmusic are opening for them on the first 8 dates. I've been loving this new record and I'm stoked they get the priveledge to support them for a few dates. Unfortunately, I will be out of town when they swing through here but I'm sure folks in attendance won't be disappointed. Check them out: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendid=10667490

I couldn't agree with you more on this entire post. I loved '94 and caught some gems that year, including 5/7/94 Bomb Factory. I was in awe of the band's ability to get so far out there and remain so tight. That Split Open and Melt you speak of is one of the reasons that song is among my favorite Phish tunes.

Like you, I used to be really into Phish. I used to frequent Gadiel's page from inception, all the way until he started jambase. I used to catch 10-15 shows a year until 2000 when I realized I just wasn't into it anymore. The music had become less interesing and the performances sloppy and lacking diversity. I stopped going to shows then and have since only heard the stuff they did after the first hiatus. I wasn't impressed with very much of it save for a couple moments of brilliance here and there. I still enjoy when their songs come up on my ipod and even put on Story of the Ghost the other

Me too! Tapes that is. I got that Boise show from fall '95 from him. I might need to dig that one up from my own personal archive.
-
I love Jason and all, but this album is proof that they don't need him to be a great band. I would suggest listening to the record before spewing such nonsense about decline.
-
Run till he comes up and turns around then chase after him and shake his butt before he goes back down.
-
'99 and '00 were way to repetitive. '93-'94 was the goods.

Anyone hear about our party pest down here?

I thought he was kinda funny. Glad he's not my neighbor though. -

I think it's unfortunate that Ryan releases so many bad songs along with the good. I find that his records are released too frequently and he doesn't do a very good job of weeding out the crappy songs. I feel his ego tells him that quantity is equally as important as quality, sometimes at the expense of the latter. That said, he still writes some amazing songs. 'Dear Anne' for example.
-
I still like Phish, although not as much as I did in the mid 90s. I put on Story of the Ghost the other night and it made me feel really good. What a great album.

Sounds like "your" car has already become "the" car.
