  1. Either because you're sick of em or just don't like them anymore. For me: Led Zep IV Sgt. Pepper CSN first album Working Man's Dead American Beauty Siamese Dream Eat A Peach
  2. Homegrown Decade II Not much Unreleased Material on Archives I Not all released material on Archives I Toast Oceanside/Countryside BD Live Downloads Berlin Live album from 82 Pono etc. He just has a bad habit of talking about something and it never coming to fruition. It's a bit frustrating. But that's Neil.
  3. Neil Young-He's become a spoiled asshole over the last 10 years. His broken promises are a joke now. MMJ-Act like the last two albums never came out and release a true successor to Z. Yim, quit sucking.
  4. i hope that new album comes out on CD at some point. anyone found a rip of it out there? btw, those sets do look pretty good. i could do without the hits, but he's got to play them i guess.
  5. looks like CRB and Ratdog are doing some co-headline shows.
  6. I'm absolutely digging that first CRB album. So great. Chris is actually a compelling guitar player. Casal, of course, is so damn tasty. I wish the bass was a bit higher in the mix a la the Dead. Seeing them in a few weeks at a local festival. Really looking forward to it. BTW, did anyone pick up any of those Betty Boards? Any recommendations?
  7. i think RDM is a great album and when Louris and O'Reagan sing together it's great. I was not impressed with the last album or the last tour. Olson just seem to be going through the motions. The acoustic reunion was great though. As were Olson's last few solo albums.
  8. i saw Easy Answers bust out! Ha ha. Also saw Unbroken Chain, but that tune was better left in the vaults until Furthur. Man did the Dead butcher that one. It's almost unrecognizable.
  9. I hate to be cynical, but this just sounds so pretentious. Especially the documentary aspect of it. Lots of shots of the 'guys' sitting around creating and working in a pristine studio with candles and shit. Probably a black and white film. Not a fan of that fake shit and not a fan of Jim James and can't understand why he's the go to guy for this stuff. He's ruined his legacy, as far as I'm concerned with MMJ's last two albums and his solo album. Hell, he used a song written by John Stirrat on that Woody Guthrie project with Farrar. That being said, I will check this out. Go figure
  10. Dude! No Shit. I was absolutely convinced I was going to be torn to pieces by Bigfoot or drown in a tidal wave as a result of watching In Search Of. Can't believe my parents let me watch that. Not to mention That's Incredible with all its ghost stuff.
  11. i'll be curious to see if they are mastered loud or more dynamic than the last ones. i just remember that mothership comp being unlistenable it was so brickwalled. maybe these will be available on pono
  12. RE: Pono the only way this will be anything new is if the download (stream?) service provides actual new remasters that have dynamic range and not the brickwalled shit that keeps coming out. that being said, there is no need for any other player. there are already high end audiophile players and one can hack an ipod to play and format imaginable. not to mention the debacle this is already becoming with it's initial thrust coming from a kickstarter campaign. i wish neil would just write and write and pick his best 10 songs and make an acoustic album and tour acoustic for the rest of his
  13. i was planning on going, but decided to opt out. the atlanta show, that is. two bass players sounds like a sound man's nightmare. maybe i'll pick up a few live shows. i bet they do a summer tour given the success of spring. btw, any reason Karan is not in the band anymore?
  14. Ice cold PBR to keep you cool and a cheese ball trucker baseball hat to keep the sun out of your eyes!
  15. Junk Maybe I'm Amazed (live) My Love Blue Bird Put It There Song We Were Singing Another Day Dear Boy Band On The Run Venus/Mars>Rock Show>Jet Honorable Mention C-Moon Treat Her Gently Pipes Of Peace Picasso's Last Words At the Mercy Too Many People London Town Waterfalls Tug of War Incidentally Chaos and Creation is a superb album if you haven't given it a listen. Also, Flaming Pie.
  16. I've been wearing earplugs since my teen years. Even at Dead and acoustic shows. Looking forward to picking this up. It's the album I've been wanting them to make for a decade. Vinyl length with equal writing credits.
  17. yeah, for years all of 'em said this tour was a nightmare. now it's some glorious find. csn really need product, so this is it. as always, beholden to neil. i love neil, but he has just become a grizzled MF this last decade. he won't release TFA on CD but will release Fork in the Road at the drop of a hat. not to mention his blue ray archives debacle etc. as i said before, i do hope this set sees the light of day. Pushed it Over the End is one of Neil's best tunes. majestic!
  18. The song Feel Your Love by Neil on that album is the best thing he did in the 80s. The fact that CSN still tour is just ridiculous. Stills hasn't been able to sing for 20 years. Nash is in good shape and Crosby still sounds good. But how many people go and see them play Teach Your Children year after year?
  19. i'd love to have this set. however, i don't see pono catching on at all.
  20. Plot twists seem to have become cliche, so I bet this show is gonna conclude in a more straight forward fashion. It's the acting makes this one so good. Both leads are absolutely compelling. I could re-watch Matthew's monologues over and over. As far as the ending goes, I bet Rust is under cover for the FBI or something. It'd be too obvious for it to be Hart.
  21. I've not heard a thing about new Loose Fur. More info please!!
  22. Grand Prix stands up with Big Star as some of the best power pop. Probably my favorite album from the 90s.
