I was sickened when that Ghana player missed the spot kick in normal time and Suarez's reaction halfway down the tunnel left a bad taste in the mouth. I feel there should be a referee's discretion allowed in situations like this. Give the goal as it was so obviously going in and then red card the player and restart the game from the centre circle. FIFA of course won't touch this sort of amendment with a barge pole. I am rooting for Holland all the way with a soft spot for Germany for the cavalier way they play. Their young players are hungry for it and want to take the game to the opponents

Brazil will win it this time I think. Dunga has the defence really well drilled and going forward they are always great. It won't be Brazil from 1982 but that will work for them. I would love to see the Dutch win it though.

Yeah, that happened to me too. I really didn't get back to listening to them until they put out that Feedback EP and the last album. I really enjoyed those and the new songs, from what I have heard, are excellent too.

So, 5 or so games in and it has been a bit of a damp squib so far. It's like the Champion's League with too many shite teams and it doesn't really get going until the latter stages. England were awful and the USA team did well to hang in there after going a goal down so early. They deserved a point for sure. Frand and U-R-GAY was awful claptrap. The constant droning from those vuvuzelas are completely annoying on the television. I mean, even Adrian Chiles shuts up after a while.

I never even knew this thread was here. This show is just the best thing on television for me. I LOVE it to death! The only thing about the series as a whole that pissed me off was the whole Landry/Tyra stalker thing but this season, 4, was amazing and one episode in particular called The Son brought tears to my eyes. From the title music to the characters to the way it is shot....it continues to delight me. Season 5 now shooting as well!

I agree with you. This album and 22 Dreams are completely great and seems that Weller is really bang on form and in a purple patch. Seeing him live soon and really looking forward to it.
