Does anyone else hear a hissing noise at the start of Impossible Germany? Could it be a result of recording to analog tape? For some reason it is really noticeable (and annoying). Other than that, SBS is starting to grow on me.

All this talk about how great the DVD is makes me wish I had pre-ordered the deluxe edition instead of settling for just the CD at Best Buy yesterday. Any thoughts of the probabilty that the DVD might be offered on its own in the future?

I broke down today and listened to the stream. I liked it. The guitar solos and piano work throughout the record are my favorite parts. I'm not so sure that I love the lyrics, but they might grow on me after repeated playback. The song that I'm looking forward to seeing live (that I haven't seen yet) is "Hate it Here".
