I've heard some (not so cool) people call this "Crimebridge." I go to BU so I'm in Boston 8 or 9 months out of the year.

Its a tough life getting people to listen to your records...I'm only being half sarcastic. I definitely agree with you on the painful repetition in all of this press, I think you have to keep in mind that not everyone is keen on reading every word that comes out of Jeff's mouth (although I for one am). I guess thats the nature of the game as they say.

Got it on vinyl at my local independent store today...was the only copy she had. The lady who owns the store made it sound like I was very lucky to get my hands on it and she called someone (I assume the distributer) when I was there to try to order another copy but with little luck.

MTV News today told me to check out new releases on Tuesday from Linkin Park, Megadeath, and Wilco.

I'm not against Wilco getting mainstream media attention, in fact I think its awesome, but this is just ridiculous.

These interviews are starting to get pretty repetitive. The Phoenix overall is also a crappy publication. The stuff in the last paragraph sounds awesome.

Hahaha...I am not much of gear guy but I can tell you one thing: don't get a Les Paul. They are heavy, awkward, and to me don't sound that nice, especially if you are looking to play a wide variety of tunes (read: anything beyond zeppelin riffs).

I would imagine that this is live. I would also imagine that the black dot that says Wilco Sky Blue Sky is a sticker on the shrink wrap and most likely isnt printed on the actual cover.

Also, does anybody know if there are any other acts going be announced or this pretty much the lineup?

I actually don't have that much hatred for the magazine, its definitely full of garbage but there is also some enjoyable content...but when it comes to lists, they are almost guaranteed to be awful.

I read on here somewhere (I cant find it right now) that certain indie record stores would be getting some bonus tracks in addition to whatever is on the Deluxe edition. Basically you won't get those songs from the Wilcoworld pre-order but you will be able to find them on the internet pretty easily.

Interesting...a lot of bands actually overlap with the Lolla lineup. TVotR, Modest Mouse, LCD, etc.

Am I the only one who thinks this song is awful? I hate to be a buzz kill but two listens and I don't think I can bear a third. But to be honest wasn't expecting much after GBMS.
