  1. I know I'm late to the party, but thank god. It's all good with Rose because Rose could probably do anything she wanted, but I must say, Capaldi is just gonna be shooting straight from the hip as the Doctor. I'm really glad to hear he rebuffed that attempt....
  2. Hey all, It's been a while since I've been on here. But we have a family emergency and we cannot make the show. The seats for this show are Row 46, Seats 117-120. We are just asking for the tickets face value (minus fees) which at $55.50 a ticket comes out to $222 even. I am open to moving these tickets seperately or as a package deal. Please send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. These are electronic delivery tickets as well so as soon as I receive payment via Paypal these will be delivered to your email address. My family also owns a small business so if you ar
  3. Hey everyone, I don't think that the government would even try to pass a bill outlawing organic farming, but rather I fear that when this department is created they will make a push to enforce hardcore regulations on herbs and homeopathy. While it is pathetic that the government doesn't make sure that these products are what they say they are and/or safe, it is not in the people's best interest to turn these products into over-the-counter prescriptions. First of all, the implications of doing this would make every herb that is widely available through gardening and/or wild-harvest illegal, a
  4. Still ISO of 1 ticket for Salt Lake City. I know that these might be will call, but if you think you're gonna have an extra one drop me a line here or at my e-mail. Hasta, Charlie
  5. Hey everyone! So, now that the tickets for Salt Lake City are sold out, I've found out that my family needs one more ticket so that my friend and my grandmother can both go to this show. If anyone has an extra ticket PM me or e-mail me at gablemancer@gmail.com Thanks! Charlie
  6. Mr. Tweedy said so before both songs, and he said that only one person requested each.
  7. Ok... I'm gonna try to reconstruct as much of the setlist as possible... now this is going to be laughable (don't even consider this to be near the correct order). Remember the Mountain Bed You are My Face Company in My Back I am Trying to Break Your Heart Kamera Side with the Seeds A Shot in the Arm (Now some songs that people requested... which only one of us wanted to hear XD) That's Not the Issue Magazine Called Sunset (End request songs) Too Far Apart Theologians Impossible Germany California Stars Jesus, Etc. I'm the Man Who Loves You Via Chicago 1st Encore Heavy Metal Drummer Wa
  8. Just got back from the show! It was one of the most amazing Wilco shows that I've ever seen. The crowd was wild and the band was tight. Highlights for me were That's not the Issue, Kamera, California Stars, and an epic Kingpin. I hope someone posts the set here... since I'm zapped and have no idea what happened. From the last time that I saw Wilco they seem like a completely different band. America's "Greatest Rock Band" indeed. Hasta Pastas! Charlie I also saw a taper there. Said he'd post the show on etree or dimeadozen.
  9. I just got back from the show today. I thought it was amazing. Especially the Relatively Clean Rivers cover. I mean, I screamed, dunno if I've ever done that at a concert. And TimRoss, I'd say there were about 200 people there. Which is still quite underwhelming. I had a great time. The cover of Easy Ride was most def my highlight from the night! (Were you up front Tim? I was the long haired hippy kid hah).
  10. I was listening to my local community radio station (KVNF... I can go on with the call numbers too), and they were saying on Midday Edition (Our midday local news show) that Colorado is making a big push for paper only elections in the next presidential election. However, the cost of this could possibly be higher than the cost of having electronic voting machines because of the cost of certifying the machines to count the paper ballets. One interesting thing about this is also how the state has decided it doesn't care about whether the voters here know EXACTLY who won 15 minutes after the po
  11. w00t! Got tickets to the Denver show already!
  12. Alright! CO Bands... a short list as I'm better at naming Chicago bands. John Denver String Cheese Incident Yonder Mountain String Band Hot Rise Townes Van Zandt has a lot of history in my local area. Opie Gone Bad Leftover Salmon If anyone else knows any Colorado bands I'd love to hear them... I'm not that knowledgeable except about Bluegrass, which I don't wanna talk about all day. Also chicago people, you're forgetting Earth, Wind, and Fire.
  13. Hey this is just a copy and paste off of an e-mail I sent out to my community radio station's (KVNF, check us out!) mailing list. For those of you who don't know (which is probably everybody) The Slideshow is just the name of the show that I do on KVNF. I think this whole discussion was based on the same article as this too, so enjoy. Thought I'd just chime in on this discussion as this is the kind of thing that interests me greatly with music. I am one of those damn audiophiles who just can't seem to get enough of his record collection. I buy new records now on heavy Vinyl and love it,
  14. I'd also suggest the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, other good inexpensive Fender amps are the Blues Jr. and The Toaster (Pro. JR). I'm trying to get my friend to sell my his hot rod deluxe, as my current amp isn't cutting it these days. Yea, please go check out your local guitar store(s), and not guitar center (unless you want a gibson).

  17. I was also really hoping for a Red Rocks date, but I'm seeing String Cheese there and ya know... Red Rocks is pretty crazy. Does anyone know their policy if The Fillmore will let people under 16 in with their parent?
  18. September 1st and 2nd at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver!! Let's pray it's only a 16 and over show.
