The statheads and scouts seem to think he'll have respectable power, high average, and low walk rate. Juan Uribe (blech) will probably be the starting 2b on opening day, but Ramirez may end up there. This would be a problem either way.

Some of the coverage have suggested that this a bellwether for the Democrats, but I'm not so sure. I think it may just be an indictment of 14th district Repubs for nominating Oberweis.

As much as I would have liked Ohio to go for Obama, I have a hard time calling voters conceited simply because they voted for their preferred viable candidate.
