Trace is generally regarded as Jay's masterpiece. While I tend to agree, I can see why it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but not to the point where I would agree that it's on par with A.M., though - which is a fine album in its own right, but there's absolutely no comparison.

Okay, so I've downloaded the new album (or maybe I haven't) and listened to it a couple times, and I'm pretty sure I like it. I definitely like the second half better than the first at this point. I'm glad to hear something different, but I do miss the Boquists an awful lot. Some of it sounds like he's trying too hard to me, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it. Anyone else?

There certainly are people who seem to take it very personally that anyone would have the audacity to dislike a Wilco song. Discussion is fine; so is hyperbole.

About what? That leaked albums are all lame? Sure. That a lot of people around here have a real hard time dealing with the fact that not everyone loves every last note Jeff Tweedy and Wilco have ever recorded? No, he's pretty much on the money.
