Albert Tatlock
Did you like?I think so, the mismatch with my expectations threw me a bit. Sort of a country Chrissie Hynde, which is a good thing.

Listen to more of her. Based on your other tastes, I think you would like her alot. That said, her albums can be a bit uneven.

I still don't think I'll keep coming back to this one. I can't say what exactly it is about it, I just don't think it will stay high in the rotation.

lizish
My fascination with this Andre Eithier guy is starting to know no bounds. Stream the first and second song from here and then come on over to the dark side: http://www.myspace.com/andreethier 'in with the Pirm' is especially fantastic. Looks like its all gonna be released by Paperbag Records on CD called Seconathallum on August 8th. If the whole thing is as strong as these 3 songs, it will zip zoom to my favourite release of the year.

Umm, that's a bit too orchestrated and Rod McKuen-like for me. (the Rod Mckuen analogy is in no way a slam - at all. If Rod's songs are good enough for Johnny Cash and Rich Rubin, they are good enough for me)
