Oil Can Boyd
Holy cow is this good. Been a passing fan of YLT for a while, but this is pretty stellar. I agree.I have been a fan for a while but their last one (Summer Sun) didn't do much for me.
rghammo
The Long Winters - Putting the Days to Bed I liked but did not loved the last one but I think this may be catching me more. Too early to tell though.
solace
I agree.I have been a fan for a while but their last one (Summer Sun) didn't do much for me.you're not alone... Summer Sun was really weak save for a couple tracks. this new one is really great, but still a ways down in terms of my fave YLT albums The Long Winters - Putting the Days to Bed I liked but did not loved the last one but I think this may be catching me more. Too early to tell though.always been really so-so on them, mostly due to seeing them open for a bunch of shows i've seen and not caring much, but man that Pushover song rules

jahilia
This new iTunes browse feature is awesome! instead of scrolling down by artist or title, you can now flip through album covers! It's great, something about seeing the album cover makes me want to hear stuff I haven't listened to in a long time (much like this thread).

Beltmann
The Good Life - Album of the Year I've never liked Cursive, but this side project by Tim Kasher sounds pretty good. Big thanks to the former student who sent it to me.

bobbob1313
By far the most ridiculous album of all time, but that is where the genius comes from. Songs like "Honey Pie" are so off the wall, but they are still great songs.
