GtrPlyr
There's been some good one's mentioned. Here's a few I'd say are quite sad or tear inducing: "Here Comes a Regular" - The Replacements"I Think it's Going to Rain Today" - Randy Newman"Waiting Around to Die" - Townes Van Zandt"Goodbye" - Steve Earle (or Emmylou's version)"This Woman's Work" - Kate Bush"Body's in Trouble" - Mary Margaret O'Hara"Pass in Time" - Beth Orton w/Terry Callier"Sylvia Plath" - Peter Laughner"I am the Cosmos" - Chris Bell"Walking on a Wire" - Richard & Linda Thompson"At My Window Sad and Lonely" - Wilco & Billy Bragg"Orphan Girl" - Gillian Welch
Guest tandylacker
Just get it over with, no one will miss you. Kind of a weird sad song would be the uncensored version of Third Eye Blind's "Slow Motion". If you don't have it, PM me. Its an oddly sad/funny in a creepy way song. fortuneinmyhead
I Am The Cosmos - Chris Bell this gets my vote i'll add "Needle of Death" by Bert Jansch When sadness fills your heartAnd sorrow hides the longing to be freeWhen things go wrong each dayYou fix your mind to `scape your misery Your troubled young lifeHad made you turnTo a needle of death How strange, your happy wordsHave ceased to bring a smile from everyoneHow tears have filled the eyesOf friends that you once had walked among Your troubled young lifeHad made you turnTo a needle of death One grain of pure white snowDissolved in blood spread quickly to your brainIn peace your mind withdrawsYour death so near your soul can't feel no pain Your troubled young lifeHad made you turnTo a needle of death Your mother stands a'cryin'While to the earth your body's slowly castYour father stands in silenceCaressing every young dream of the past Your troubled young lifeHad made you turnTo a needle of death Through ages, man's desiresTo free his mind, to release his very soulHas proved to all who liveThat death itself is freedom for evermore And your troubled young lifeWill make you turnTo a needle of death
