jff
True, but it's still incredible to have recorded four all-time classic albums over the course of two sessions. This guy knows what he's talking about.

m_thomp
I'll take out live albums and covers albums because, frankly, the world is a safer place without them, already mentioned but for a run of albums you could pick a run of any five out of this lot and it would be justified and difficult to rival. -Hunky Dory-Ziggy Stardust-Aladdin Sane-Diamond Dogs-Young Americans-Station to Station-Low-"Heroes"-Lodger-Scary Monsters There's some reasoning behind topping and tailing that list with The Man Who Sold The World and Let's Dance. But it would be a brave move.

bobbob1313
Can you think of any other artist or band who has put out 5 studio albums back to back more (or as) thoroughly enjoyable than/as Wilco's Being There, Summerteeth, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, A Ghost Is Born and Sky Blue Sky? Those albums are the soundtrack to right now for me snce I'll be seeing Rush one week before Wilco. Caress of Steel is their least appreciated album, but it has a lot amazing music on it.
