Artifice
counting crows and hootie mention Dylan Embarassed that I know this, but that line actually refers to two bands/musicians. "put on a little dylan, sitting on a fence" refers to Bob, and to Dillon Fence, a regional indie pop band that Hootie used to tour with. They weren't too bad. A bit bland and frat rockish at times, but not as bad as Hootie was. And that would have been a great line if Darius Rucker didn't follow it up with self congratulations.
