Welsh Rich
Is it just me, or does "Innocent Bones" sound like Lindsey Buckingham?
virtualreason
I just streamed the first 2 songs....WOW. Best opening to an album this year. I think I'll make a trip to the Exclusive Co. after lunch.
Big Perm
I've only heard one song, and I really enjoy that one song
Kicking_Television
This is totally great! You can really hear the influence of Calexico on it. Great sound to it and Beam's singing is wonderful too. now that excites me even more
pitseleh17
looks like i'll be the black sheep. i don't like it as much as his older stuff. it's still excellent, and probably will be my favorite album released this year (behind SBS). but it doesn't grab me like the earlier stuff. now, i've only listened to it once, so i'll check back after a few days of absorbing. just my first impression. I am behind on listening to some of my podcasts, but I am interested to hear what his live shows sound like.
cryptique
is there a youtube link for this yet? can't locate it.My recording cut off long before the end ... Letterman must have run quite long last night. Otherwise, I'd have YSI'd it for people.
winter party person
i love this album, especially the song "Flightless Bird, American Mouth". I'm not sure I know what the song's about though. Any ideas?
Mystik Spiral
The more I listen to this album the more I realize... Resurrection Fern is perhaps the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Ever.
shinypants
Saw the show in Manchester UK last night -mightily impressed. Bumped into Leroy Bach in a kebab shop post-gig and shook his hand like a starstruck kid He was really friendly though and told me he left the band as he'd been there over 5 years and needed to move on. Told him what a fan I was of YHF particularly and thanked him and he seemed to keep a silence as if he either wasn't totally happy with it or perhaps he was just flattered with my reverence. My first post on here but a fan since the day of uk release of YHF. Am now looking forward to rescheduling of the Uk dates.

myboyblue
is it me, or does this sound like Lindsey Buckingham? I know I'm late to this party...Really, was this worth the search? It's a great album... I haven't heard Lindsey Buckingham since Fleetwood Mac. Iron & Wine doesn't sound like Fleetwood Mac.
embiggen
Really, was this worth the search? yes, for my personal amusement, it certainly was.
nodep5
I love Iron and Wine, but never ever could get into this album. Ressurection Fern is a great song no doubt, but this record felt like world music to me

PigSooie
is it me, or does this sound like Lindsey Buckingham? I know I'm late to this party... I don't hear "Holiday Road" in any of this.
embiggen
I don't hear "Holiday Road" in any of this. Lindsey Buckingham is so much more than that "Holiday Road" crap. some of The Shepherd's Dog reminds me of early Fleetwood Mac.
PigSooie
Lindsey Buckingham is so much more than that "Holiday Road" crap. I am mad at you.
