looks like i'll be the black sheep. i don't like it as much as his older stuff. it's still excellent, and probably will be my favorite album released this year (behind SBS). but it doesn't grab me like the earlier stuff. now, i've only listened to it once, so i'll check back after a few days of absorbing. just my first impression.

is there a youtube link for this yet? can't locate it.

My recording cut off long before the end ... Letterman must have run quite long last night. :ohwell

Otherwise, I'd have YSI'd it for people.

Saw the show in Manchester UK last night -mightily impressed. Bumped into Leroy Bach in a kebab shop post-gig and shook his hand like a starstruck kid :blush He was really friendly though and told me he left the band as he'd been there over 5 years and needed to move on. Told him what a fan I was of YHF particularly and thanked him and he seemed to keep a silence as if he either wasn't totally happy with it :unsure or perhaps he was just flattered with my reverence.

My first post on here but a fan since the day of uk release of YHF. Am now looking forward to rescheduling of the Uk dates.

I don't hear "Holiday Road" in any of this.

Lindsey Buckingham is so much more than that "Holiday Road" crap.

some of The Shepherd's Dog reminds me of early Fleetwood Mac.

In support of Around the Well Iron and Wine will be performing ten intimate shows in five cities. Each individual show will be wholly unique, as Iron and Wine will turn the set list over to the fans to create. In addition, Iron and Wine have begun work on the follow-up to The Shepherd
