THE SAINTS J FILE

SAT 14.7.07, 5pm

Saturday July 14 at 5PM, triple j will take you through the career and music of Aussie punk legends THE SAINTS. In 1976, THE SAINTS exploded out of Brisbane with one of the first punk singles, 'I'm Stranded'. The band went on to reign in the UK until they went their separate ways in 1979 and continued with different line ups throughout the 80s and 90s. In 2007, the original line up of CHRIS BAILEY, ED KUEPPER and IVOR HAY have regrouped for one SAINTS show in Brisbane on July 14. This weekend, hear all the big hits, plus live tracks, rare songs and new interviews with Chris, Ed and Ivor about the band.

You should enjoy my body

You should enjoy my mind

I will take it away from you

In my own time

Now it doesn
