mfwahl
JT says they're good. I did a recon mission. They are. Any thoughts? Here's a full live show of . video style. They mix all types of music (jam, metal, funk, prog rock) and if you play an instrument you'll probably enjoy people playing multiple instruments at the same time. cheers
Welsh Rich
They Are Brilliant! Mirrored is one of my favourite albums of the year. Got tickets to see them in London in October and can't wait. Didn't realise Mr. Tweedy was a fan... perhaps an interesting new direction for the next Wilco album?!?
solace
i saw them w/ Dead Meadow and another band in 2004 or 2005... wasn't all that impressed w/ them live honestly...
deepseacatfish
I thought they were great at the Pitchfork Music Festival, and I hadn't really heard the record much at all.
HighFives
I heard the single it was cool til the vocals came in then it crested. I like Don Cab more.

dannygutters
I heard the single it was cool til the vocals came in then it crested. I like Don Cab more. Hello! Are you from the past? Welcome, Here in the present Don Cab is but a shadow of it's former glory. This could possibly be why they lean so heavily on their catalogue recordings in live shows. Also, the battles Ian Williams is not in Don Cab anymore but was on their good records. The battles are it tho, check out "EP C / B EP" A recent comp of their previous EPs. Super! aricandover
exactly! Don Cab rule we used to get bums to buy us 40s and go up to Don Cab/Karl Henricks Trio double bills at CMU. fuck, those were the days. Battles are great, and Don Cab still rules.

Che more fluid and more fun to listen to. But then again I can't make too good a judgment since I've only heard that one song.
foolnrain97
A friend introduced me to them earlier this year(Battles) and I really dig them. The drummer used to play for Helmet? That's about all I know about them, but I imagine they'd be great to see live based on that youtube thing.
HighFives
I'll download an album tonight listen to it and get back to you guys on saturday with my thoughts.

Toxa
They are great. I'm not a fan of this kind of music, but Mirrored easily will be in my top 10 of the year. My first post! yay!

Calexico
Holy shit....I just got this over the weekend and it blew me away. What a great album!
remphish1
I just got the album and had trouble getting through the first 3 tracks. Tell me it gets better? So far I do not like it at all
Littlebear
Bought Mirrored this year, was impressed on the first listens, as it's well-played and it sounds great, but I ended to be bored, 'cause I don't find soul nor joy in this music. It makes me want to get back to the good ol' folk music
Littlebear
Didn't realise Mr. Tweedy was a fan... perhaps an interesting new direction for the next Wilco album?!? I hope not. Actually I'd like to hear Mr Tweedy lead a girl group, trying hard on imitating Diana Ross. But they say I'm not realistic.
socbret
I just figured out Ian Williams was in High Fidelity during The Beta Band scene. I knew I recognized that guy in the yellow jacket!
markosis
I just got the album and had trouble getting through the first 3 tracks. Tell me it gets better? Yes, it does. Trust me. When I first heard it I really wanted to like it but thought it was pretentious(sp) crap. Then I listened again, and again. Now I love it.
