ESPN Gameday is broadcasting from Lexington today (like now). UK-UF on national television. This whole city is about to wet its collective pants this weekend.

Rumor has it that people here are offering to trade UK-UF Basketball tickets for UK-UF football tickets today. If anyone feels the earth start to tilt slightly off its axis, you'll know where it started....

Go Cats!

Well, if the masses were already suspicious of tOSU's credentials thus far, I guess a 7 pt victory over Sparty probably isn't going to win much praise. Oh well. Could have been worse. I was a senior in 98 when Sparty ruined an otherwise perfect season. Many a couch were burned that night in Columbus. Today was pretty ho-hum, in comparison. Business as usual for the Tressel era--get a comfortable lead and then let the other team make it interesting in the 4th quarter. Far be it for me to criticize the Sweatervest's success, but I'm constanly amazed this lack of killer instinct doesn't blow up in their faces more often.

So, does anyone here still think Oklahoma is the best team in the country? :lol

Haha. OK. I was just trying to justify why someone might vote them No. 1. And I still say that it can be reasonable to vote a one-loss team higher than an undefeated team.

I don't think Oklahoma should be No. 1. But I do still think the Sooners have a chance to be in the title game.

You mean the ones that say "Iowa State" on them? :lol

I kind of figured that since they were playing Iowa State, that even though I left out the "state" people would figure I was referring to Iowa State and no Iowa. I apologize for the confusion.

It is great to be a BC Eagle this morning. Second greatest football victory for the program. Top three: 1. Flutie game in Miami; 2. Va Tech shocked, stay undefeated and keep championship hopes alive; 3. ND victory in '93 - defeat #1 ranked team on the road.

If Penn State beats OSU on Saturday night, I will wet myself.
