nettles
Though all four of these records rock so freakin hard and masterfully that the weak scatter in fear and GOD himself bows before there thunderous power! One must be chosen to forever rule above all records, especially the feeble hippie tree hugger records discussed here on VC. Choose wisely my friends or Kirk Hammett will send his hair weave to hunt you down like a demon hound, and eat you alive for eternity!
cryptique
So, was this supposed to be a poll or something?

ction
Is it really possible to vote for something other than Master of Puppets? I think I prefer Ride the Lightning. I think I also did this thread once (or maybe it was just part of a RTT), but I'm too lazy to look in the archives.

El Picador
I voted Master of Puppets but it's probably tied with Ride the Lightning.
the carlos
I've never really listened to any of these but I'm sure they are all excellent in some way or another.

Yeah, we had this discussion about a year ago (Master of Puppets vs. Ride the Lightning) and you went through and did a comparison track by track. I think you gave a slight edge to Master of Puppets at the time. I voted for Master of Puppets, a definitive moment in metal, IMHO.
ction
3. The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited I sold my copy on eBay a couple of years ago for over $70. Which was something.

MrRain422
I voted for Ride the Lightning, though I resent not having the option to vote for St. Anger.
JUDE
I just like the sound of both, the production, mixing and killer guitar tones are just about perfect for the genre. Do they sound dated, maybe, that is if rock your face off is a time period.

ction
I'd like to take this opportunity to note that if time travel was possible, I would go back to 1986 and make sure the bus never crashed. And while I was there I'd give Cliff a copy of Some Kind of Monster dubbed onto a VHS tape and let him know his life was saved to make the future a better place. I'd also mail the 15 year old me a list of the winners of all the major sporting events of the last 20+ years. And some porn.
