lamradio
Jake Lloyd isn't ten anymore, and he's funny. Yeah, he seems like a pretty down to earth dude, and funny indeed. He made a good point; Star Wars is mostly for kids now. And I agree, it's not for the hard-core "Ice Cream Maker Guy" kind of fans anymore.
brianjeremy
The Old Republic looks really flipping sweet. I loved Knights of the Old Republic. I just don't know if I can play MMORPG or not?

brianjeremy
Once you do MMORPG...you won't settle for anything less. They seem pretty time-consuming. I am not sure if I have the time to devote to an all-out massive game these days. Maybe if I were in college or whatever but nowadays? I just don't know.

brianjeremy
Yeah, I'm gonna have to skip this one. I cannot commit to "life consuming" these days. Sucks because I really enjoyed KOTOR I & II so much. This mmorpg being the follow up to the KOTOR saga is a really a bummer. It's a total shame that "normal" gamers can't enjoy this (like on an x-box or something). Lucasarts has really dropped the ball for the fans of the original series. Maybe they're working on the real follow up and make KOTOR III. I want my Darth Revan story-closure.

Analogman
Lucasfilm plans animated 'Star Wars' series Source: Reuters Fri Mar 26, 2010, 2:49 am EDT Photo by Kevin Parry/WireImage.com LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - After two hit "Robot Chicken" parodies of "Star Wars," "Chicken" masterminds Seth Green and Matthew Senreich get to do the real thing. "Star Wars" creator George Lucas' Lucasfilm Animation said Monday it is developing a new animated "Star Wars" series that will take a comedic and irreverent look at the characters from the sci-fi franchise and will feature creative involvement from Green and Senreich as well as writing from Brendan Hay ("The Daily Show"). "The 'Star Wars' universe is so dense and rich; it's crazy to think that there aren't normal, mundane everyday problems in a world so well-defined," Green said. "What do these characters do when they're not overthrowing empires?" Added Senreich, "We're going to pull back the curtain of some of those behind-the-scenes shenanigans." There is no network announced for the new series, but given Lucas Animation and Green and Senreich's close ties with Cartoon Network, a deal with Cartoon or its Adult Swim programing block appears likely. The new comedic "Star Wars" series follows Lucasfilm Animation's series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," which airs on Cartoon Network. Meanwhile, "Chicken" buoyed by its popular "Star Wars: Episode 1 and 2" specials, is the flagship series on Adult Swim.
lamradio
Lucasfilm plans animated 'Star Wars' series Awesome!! It's really brilliant actually. TV shows have been poking fun at Star Wars forever.. The amount of material is practically unlimited, and old George has always had a good sense of humor about it. anthony
I have mixed feelings about the SW ani sitcom. Isn't this a dead horse? On the other hand, Seth Green has a good track record with such things. By the way, I posted the Red Letter Media review of Phantom Menace a while back (seriously one of the funniest things I've seen in a decade). He is back for Attack of the clones. Those are great, at first I wished he'd drop the weird "the narrator is a psycho killer" subplot, but in the Attack of the Clones piece it really started growing on me. Those movies are clusterfuck awful, and I can't wait to see what he does with Episode III which might be my least favorite of all them. --Mike

lamradio
I have a crush on the shape-shifting bounty hunter from Attack of The Clones, Zam Wessell (RIP). However I'd be scared of her changing into the reptilian creature, mid-coitus..
