IRememberDBoon
Me, too, but talk about a rock and a hard place. I don't get the big deal about Springsteen. I know I should like his stuff, but I just don't get it. Yes you dont.  I couldnt have given a shit about Bruce Springsteen when I was younger but now I love him to death.  Try this loud. Listen to the whole thing please. If you dont like it Im not sure what to say........

With the exception of the Who. Allowing Who classics to be used in commercials isn't about Pete Townsend needing extra lucre to research more child porn. It's just a massive FU to the preciousness of the fans who made him so rich in the first place. Contrary motherfooka he is!
Sweet Papa Crimbo
  I'm trying really hard to like Bruce Springsteen. I guess if I had to choose between these two artists and only listen to one of them as my only music ever, ever again, I would choose Bruce. Get the TRUE religion sister http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-a2juEmeIZM&feature=PlayList&p=B295FCB8EF5E0887&index=
auctioneer69
U2 haven't made a great record since Achtung Baby and after the last 3 efforts which range from decent/lukewarm (All That You Can't...), terrible (How To Dismantle...) and lame "No Line on The Horizon" have become a younger version of the Rolling Stones. Artistically irrelevant but a commercial behemoth when it comes to tours. (Add in the fact that the size of this stage show seems totally inappropriate in a world wading through a global recession and getting to grips with climate change. And the fact that no pop star is responsible for greater verbal diarrhea than Bono in the last few years.)

OOO
People who don't like Paul McCartney's songs don't listen to music correctly.
KevinG
Bob Dylan's recent work is not good. Any praise/accolades he received was solely based upon who he is, not what the music is.
TCP
Exile On Main St. is boring.
The High Heat
Death Cab for Cutie is whiny drivel and Ben Folds can't sing worth a shit.
Nobody Girl
Exile On Main St. is boring.I listen to Exile every so often, but I just can't get into it. I like other Stones stuff, but it's just not happening with this album.
Calexico
I also tried the GBV thing and remain completely unmoved. Also, the White Stripes are barely tolerable and most of the time painful to experience.

Mr. Heartbreak
Other than the scenes with Dylan, Neil Young, Joni & Muddy Waters, I found The Last Waltz to be almost intolerably boring.
u2roolz
Has probably listened to Deee-Lite's Groove Is In The Heart more than Radiohead's last 4 albums.
TCP
I listen to Exile every so often, but I just can't get into it. I like other Stones stuff, but it's just not happening with this album. There's a couple songs I really like ...specifically Torn and Frayed & Sweet Virginia but the album as a whole is too long and far too monotonous. Every time I listen to it I just find myself thinking "is this over yet??". Other than the scenes with Dylan, Neil Young, Joni & Muddy Waters, I found The Last Waltz to be almost intolerably boring.Ugh.... "Whoooo do you love???" I never want to hear that crap again.I do love when they play The Band's own material in that. Those live versions of Up on Cripple Creek, the Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, It Makes No Difference, etc are tremendous.
Nobody Girl
I think Hail to the Thief -- not Kid A -- is Radiohead's best post-OK Computer album.
Sweet Papa Crimbo
Radiohead started going downhill when Jay Bennett left Wilco.
hardwood floor
My Morning Jacket tries so hard to be great that they have no clue how to be good.Drive By Truckers has never written a good song.Guided By Voices > Beatles. Really.Grant Hart wrote more good songs in Husker Du than Bob Mould.Hair Metal > Grunge. All Reggae is boring as shit. You can go into any bar in New Jersey on a Saturday night and hear some cover band guitar player who is 10 times better than Eric Clapton.World Music blows. and Coldplay is total shit
