Phil Collins throwing in the towel?

I don't know if I take much stock in this. I did see him once solo and once with Genesis. Both were entertaining. He has written so many hits it is mindboggoling!

In honor of his retirement I plan on putting his first solo album in the old CD player later today. I still love that one. He went steadily downhill after that, but at least he knows when to call it a day. (Yeah, I'm looking at you Rolling Stones.)

but also at one point he really was an incredible singer

Afterglow What a beautiful song. The tour with Bruford/CT ("Seconds Out") was really fine imo.

After this record, Phil's success steadily increased to the point I just couldn't stomach him any longer.

I like "In The Air Tonight" too, but could probably live without the rest.

 

I wasn't even aware they had reunited.

Found that man reported missing,
