John Smith
I think I've seen the whole thing online, but assumed the "foreign policy" part was aired. Now I'm told it wasn't on the actual broadcast. Is that true? If so, why? I don't know? Maybe they are going to either air a third part? Or maybe they are holding back the really bad stuff? quarter23cd
We've officially reached the point in the campaign where almost all of us have been dug into our respective trenches for a while and won't be budging no matter what, so all that's left to do is sit back and watch the sideshow unfold--and to mock it, mercilessly. Which we will dutifully do while we pass the time for the next month. I wish I knew more of these undecided voters in real life--it would be interesting to hear what makes them tick. Seemingly everyone I know already made their choice, one way or another, and will defend it to the end. Honestly, I think this is going to come down to election day turnout. The Obama camp has registered people at an unprecedented rate and has generated huge buzz among younger and first-time voters--precisely the type of voters you historically can't really count on actually showing up. If they do, I think he'll win big. If they don't, we've got a nailbiter up to the end. Should be interesting. But in the meantime, at least we have the sideshow. Lets hear Sarah Palin talk about migratory birds carrying scraps of paper across the water and have her call it "foreign correspondence". I don't know about the rest of you, but laughing is the only thing keeping me sane right now, so bring on the absurdity!

John Smith
So that portion of the interview wasn't aired (the Russians in my airspace portion)? If so, why not? It will air tonight. It is out there now. Honestly, I think this is going to come down to election day turnout. Can they get voters registered as fast as the republican's can get voters stricken from the voter lists?
bobbob1313
New cover of EW. Stewart/Colbert 08 That's awesome. Is it offensive? Are we ok with it? I remember quite a bit of uproar regarding the original.

jakobnicholas
There's a part of me.......that very wrong part of me stares at a car wreck hoping to see a detached head or that secretly hoped David Blaine would somehow fall to his death on live TV last night.....that hopes Obama wins and the Democrats hold COMPLETE control of everything. bobbob1313
i realize you are playing jr. devil's advocate, but you do understand the difference? I'm not playing devil's advocate. People getting pissed off at the original was dumb. That's what they are mocking, in my eyes. That to me was the ultimate example of people taking Barack and themselves way too seriously. It was obvious satire that was created with the intention to show just how ridiculous the 'allegations' were.

And we'll all get to see how a Socialist society works, or doesn't work.Been there, done that from the flipside. For those of us on the other side of the fence who watched a Bush presidency and Republican controlled congress shred the Constitution, laughing all the time, and calling us "unpatriotic" when we dared speak up. It sucks. Hope you don't have to experience that. PS - I also think you're overreacting about the socialist society thing.

Drive in diners.2. Cool cars and artistic designs in the auto industry.3. A pretty decent economic boom.4. Engineer boots, tee shirts and leather jackets (smokes rolled in sleeves optional)5. Buddy Holly6. A family could have a pretty decent standard of living with just one income earner7. AM radio8. etc. I was born in 1971, so, I got to experience about 0% of the 1950

I thought it was funny and poked fun at all those stupid emails and Fox commentators. I was surprised that the Obama camp got so pissed off. And a little disappointed, actually. Party @ the Moontower
And how, exactly, is Couric responsible for Palin's piss poor performance? Should she have avoided political questions altogether, and instead, put the focus on how to dress a deer? I just cannot comprehend that line of reasoning. It's dress a moose dude.
