Kalle
Alright folks, it's been a damn long time since we've had a webcast of any sort, and even a longer time since we've had one of our massive webcasts (I'm talking it becomes like 40 pages of craziness), and I think it's well over due and I miss it. We have lots to look forward to tonight, hopefully more new songs, maybe banter about what they're calling the new album (WilcoVI anyone?) and maybe we'll hear about how the album cover photo shoot went. So I think we should sit down, eat some popcorn (or some form of snacks, yummm), fight over what song is coming up next and have some fun!
blureu
What time does the webcast start (EST)?
indy81
What time does the webcast start (EST)? Last night they took the stage at about 8:35 CST.
tangerine
Last night they took the stage at about 8:35 CST. I could be working tonight it will be on streaming in the roadcase for awhile yes?
Rusty Shackleford
I could be working tonight it will be on streaming in the roadcase for awhile yes? Sometimes they take a few days (or longer) before putting streamed shows up on the website as archives, but yes, it will most likely be up there for awhile. Col. Hapablap
I'll try to record this thing. I have a new pc since the last webcast, so i have a new audio capture setup as well. I hope audacity works!
faxman75
This is going to be great. I'm packing and getting ready for Coachella tonight and baking some yellow submarine cookies, this will be awesome to hear while getting ready for Coachella. I can't wait to see them in Tucson and at Bonnaroo!
Guest Hollinger.
Well it is up and supposed to be streaming AH&AH's set, but like usual it's not working. At least this time they should get the kinks worked out before Wilco comes on.
radiowilco
It's almost always this way - the webcast either fails miserably from the start or cuts out multiple times during the show - hope they work the kinks out within the hour...
Guest Hollinger.
and it's working!
Wilco Worshipper
and it's working!
radiowilco
Indeed it is...no glitches yet.
stretch
I can't install the plug in for some reason.
Edie
Is tiny hands around? A few Webcasts ago, there was a chat thingy set up on AIM I think. Easier to work with than the board, frankly.
jtosmon
I just joined this board, even though I've been stalking around in the background for quite some time... I have to say that A Hawk and a Hacksaw is... very interesting. I definitely like it, but I'm not sure how well it works as an opener for Wilco.
RainDogToo
For me, the stream cuts in and out every so often. Is this happening to anyone else?
jcarlile1
and it's working! mine is just starting and stopping, and starting and stopping.... :no
jtosmon
Yes, mine is skipping slightly every once in a while. The sound quality is pretty remarkable considering, though... You can hear folks talking and such. XDÂ Oh... and it seems very, very quiet too... I was just listening to the archived roadcases and they were quite loud. I have my speakers turned up WAY louder than usual just to hear this at a decent volume.
stretch
I got the plug in to install, but now I get nothing but the quicktime logo.
RainDogToo
What time does Wilco take the stage, again?
Edie
H&HS sounds like it would be great sound track music -- opener for Wilco, less so.
jericho
yeah this sounds quiet, but it's good quality.
jtosmon
Two more songs he just said.
dontforget
It's going in and out for me too. Only one or two seconds of music before silence. Totally un-listenable. Fail.
stagerug
Can't say they aren't good, but I could not see myself listening to this in anyplace but a captive environment.
