gatr9197
http://www.highroadtouring.com/artists/wilco/ Just saw that on the High Road Touring site, Wilco was looking to book fall dates in October and November. Anyone hear anything? Hoping for some Florida dates.
Shakespeare In The Alley
They just started a tour. Are you seriously asking for the next round of dates?
Al.Ducts
Minneapolis (fingers crossed). First Avenue is calling you Wilco!

Part Hound Dog
Minneapolis (fingers crossed). First Avenue is calling you Wilco! Here's hoping it happens for ya but isn't First Avenue kinda tiny for Wilco these days?
Al.Ducts
Here's hoping it happens for ya but isn't First Avenue kinda tiny for Wilco these days? Yea that's why they're crossed extra tightly . I'd be thrilled if they played anywhere near the Twin Cities.

virtualreason
Two words: Pritzker residency So long as it's GA shows, I'm all for that! Maybe they could play the Terrace in Madison before they set up shop there...
gatr9197
They just started a tour. Are you seriously asking for the next round of dates? Yeah, I'm seriously asking for dates, since Wilco has played only one date in Florida (Jacksonville August 08) since March of 2006.
dunnright00
They just started a tour. Are you seriously asking for the next round of dates? Uh, Yeah! I'd like to hear about more dates! Especially since I'm not making any of the shows on this tour. Maybe my money situation will be better by the fall...
KramkonG
Seeing it would be overly greedy of me to ask them to come back to Milwaukee...Madison would be happy to accommodate!
Uncle Jeffro
I think Binghamton, NY would be a kickin' place for a Wilco show. We are centrally located near many major metropolitan areas.
Three dollars and 63 cents
There are no decent venues in Binghamton, but the State Theatre here in Ithaca would be perfect. I doubt it's going to happen this time around, though, because they've already announced their 09-10 concert season. The Landmark Theatre in Syracuse would be good, too. They've played the Midwest pretty sparsely recently, though, so I think it's their turn for some shows in the fall. It would be nice if they came up the east coast again this year, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I think our musical highlight this year is Huey Lewis playing at a golf course. I haven't been to the State Theatre but I agree that the Landmark would be good. I saw Springsteen acoustic at the Landmark and I remember that I really liked the acoustics of the building. I guess I should be content that they came to Rochester and are coming to Buffalo within 8 months. 2 upstate NY shows in less than a year.
bobbob1313
My first thought when I saw this thread was "Don't hold your breath for Florida."
virtualreason
My first thought when I saw this thread was "Don't hold your breath for Florida." I was really surprised they didn't squeeze in a Florida date when they were in the southeast in April. I'm not surprised that you guys get shafted--after all, you live in America's wang. I'm not surprised that you guys get shafted--after all, you live in America's wang. Same here. When they announced they were touring the Southeast, I was at least thinking Jacksonville again. I made the trip last time to the Florida Theater from South Florida and was ready to do it again. It was a bummer. That place sold out too... and at my hotel there were many fans from all over the state there to see them. But it's a big wang. Somebody had to be the wang.... I guess we'll deal.... Just soften the blow with some Wilco....
gatr9197
Looks like we have our first tour dates of the fall tour 10/4 at Farm Aid in outside of St. Louis 10/18 in Chicago hopefully we will see more soon
knotgreen
Is it likely that they will be focusing on cities they didn't hit with this first leg of the tour, or they will be returning to some areas for round two? (i'm down for some more new england shows!)

(i'm down for some more new england shows!) Ya, kinda lame that there was no RI, CT, or eastern mass shows. I guess we did luck out with the tweedy solo show though! gogo
[lie]Between the Chicago and St. Louis dates, they'll be doing a week-long residency at the Fillmore in SF. Opening acts will include the Nels Cline Singers, the Autumn Defense, Pronto, and Jim O'Rourke flying in for a Loose Fur set.[/lie]
