But any Beatles album in the Beatles slot would do.

Ghost of Electricity
Blood on the Tracks, Blonde on Blonde, John Wesley Harding, Highway 61 Revisited, Oh Mercy There's just so much in the lyrics that you will always be able to turn them over and look at them from a new angle, find something new. It would be the gift that keeps on giving. And speaking of giving, the bastards oughta give him the Nobel already.

Leading me to a sub-question: which albums would you be "bringing with you" in the aforementioned capacity? most of Wilco cataloguemost of Radiohead "most of Dave Matthews Band (sadly. I might never play those )some Bowiesome Lou Reedalot of White Stripes ok, this is getting dumb. Anyway, what do you have stored in the old memory bank? I don't want to hi-jack, different thread??? u2roolz
Sadly, I don't like to fly anymore. So I don't really see me being stranded on a desert island. So I'd prefer an emoticon party on this island instead of cds.Plus, if you're listening to music all the time how will you hear the helicopter sent to rescue you. u2roolz
I'm not stoned. I looked at the topic and couldn't think of what to bring, since the person wanted non-Wilco cds. And I guess the bigger question is: Do we get to have unlimited batteries?
Kevan
I'm sorry.
u2roolz
No problem. It's one of those age old questions that throws me for a loop. There's no way 5 cds are enough. So I don't bother sweating over it with a certain sense of it will never happen to me.But somewhere I know i'll find myself on an island. What's even harder for me would be what 5 DVDs would I bring with me?
