Wilco...oh...oh
Here is a track that tweedy obviously loves to perform (they have played it at almost every show since WTA was released in June 2009). I just can't get into this song for some reason, so I'm wondering what the consensus is among you good folks...?
dtram
Meh. Seriously, it's a song that on paper, i feel like i should love but it doesn't do much for me. I like it fine enough when i hear it live but i never go out of my to hear it.
-seven
I like it. I wasn't that crazy about it at first but after a while I started to like how the music makes you feel anxious just like the character in the song is feeling.
lost highway
It's cool. Not in sound, but feel it reminds me of a lot of Sonic Youth stuff; it sounds really cool, it's pretty exciting, on a thematic level it doesn't engage the heart. It's just cool, no more, no less. The interplay between various band member's skronks after the first loud part is one of a handful of brilliant moments on that record.
ViaBuffalo
I'm a big fan. Love it live, studio version is solid as well.

And it's hard not to like any song where all 3 guitarists are rocking away.Having said that, I am pretty tired of hearing it (One Wing as well) and it always seems to have a predictable slot in the early part of the set.But this is one of the problems that comes with going to every show I can and obsessing over each setlist I guess. It's the only W(TA) song I'm still listening to on a regular basis.
theashtraysays
I like it. A lot. And not just because it's the strongest song on a less than strong album. I love the three guitar assault, and the underpinning that Pat gives with his part. Someone here called it the bastard love child of Via Chicago and Spiders, which I think is a very good description. I'd call it a keeper on the setlist.
bleedorange
I liked it at first. But it has definitely worn out its welcome. In fact, I often skip it whenever I listen to Wilco (the album).
ih8music
As trivial as it sounds, I think there need to be more than 2 "pickup!" screams at the end. In my mind the character of that song is completely freaking out at that point and he should be in full-on panic mode - at least 3, maybe 5 screams of increasing intensity. Aside from that, I like the song a lot. Probably my favorite on W(TA).
Guest McGuffin
It's a good tune and one of better tunes on SBS. It doesn't make me anxious in the least bit.

I would support this movement! It's my fave part of the song, which is my fave song on the album and I love hearing it live.

choo-choo-charlie
It's a good tune and one of better tunes on SBS. It doesn't make me anxious in the least bit. If you have "Bull Black Nova" on your copy of SBS, I'd hold onto it. That's some rarity you've got there.

Having only seen it done live once, I'm hoping to see it on Wednesday and Saturday.

SBS and WTA really run together for me as one album. I won't go into the details as to why because panties will get up in a bunch. To be correct, it's one of the better tunes on WTA. Half of SBS and half of WTA would make one great album.
Shug
Its my least favorite song on Wilco The Album because of its disonance and angularity. It just doesn't sound or feel good to me. Figures its about the only song from that record that they are still playing on this tour . I guess the band's tastes go along with most of the fans here. I'd rather hear You Never Know or Country Disappeared.
Autumnteeth
Like a ramped up, and amped up, via chicago. Love this song. And album.. Know I am in the minority but thing WTA is grat.
cryptique
I forget how this song goes. It's that one with virtually no melody.
