dmhphoto
At the Tweedy solo shows in May, there was a film/video crew interviewing fans out in front of the Vic on rituals. They also filmed Jeff talking about rituals Just thought of it yesterday and googled jeff tweedy rituals and came across this website http://www.andrewwehde.com/Rituals-Jeff-Tweedy Sent an email to Andrew asking for the password to look at the video and he responded that the video was being released on Youtube today (6/27/12)Tried looking on youtube today but haven't found it yet.His response to my email was- "are you industry or just a wilco fan?" saluqi
Produced by Ashton Kutcher? Really?
worldrecordplayer
That is fantastic! My stomach was in knots from nerves just watching him go on stage to play 30 songs on a few hours notice. Don't know how he does it. Probably 60 different ones over the 2 nights. Beyond impressive.
Bosco
AWESOME!!!! They've got him working out Wherever, and they keep it going for a long time essentially the soundtrack for the movie!

Queen Amaranthine
His response to my email was- "are you industry or just a wilco fan?" "Just" a Wilco fan... Thanks to you guys who mentioned and found this--fun to watch. Does anyone else think Jeff sounded and looked really bored and/or ticked off about the song request thing, though? Maybe I'm just reading into that as wishful thinking because I didn't go to those shows and am a tad jealous that I didn't get to make one of the 30 requests I must continue to work on detachment... gogo
I haven't even watched this yet, but... doesn't Jeff sound bored and/or ticked off almost all the time?
sonicshoulder
Jeff: "Do you have Hell Is Chrome on your phone" Me: (if I'd had been there) "Yes"
smells like flowers
Does anyone else think Jeff sounded and looked really bored and/or ticked off about the song request thing, though? ... I must continue to work on detachment...I thought the same thing. We (the superfans, as I fondly dub us) are probably the best and worst thing for Wilco... Yes, we buy a helluva lot of tickets and see tons of shows, but there are also our opinions, and our g-d requests! Jeff probably wishes we'd just let him call the shots sometimes... but when there are songs that affect you like no others, it's no good to leave it to chance. Can't win for losin'. ** Hey, Diane (Wilco Me), did you see yourself at the beginning of the video?! That's pretty great!
The High Heat
If I was there and requested Feed of Man, that probably would tick off Tweedy.
Queen Amaranthine
doesn't Jeff sound bored and/or ticked off almost all the time? More so than usual.
Fritz
Hey, that was really really good! Thank you for posting this. I could watch hours of doco footage like this.
barbkm
I haven't even watched this yet, but... doesn't Jeff sound bored and/or ticked off almost all the time? I was at both those shows .. and some of the request may have threw him, but did not impact the performance one bit. He was awesome! And the fact that he worked the cobwebd outta a few of the old ones showed - to me - that it did matter.
jsarnerphoto
AWESOME!!!! They've got him working out Wherever, and they keep it going for a long time essentially the soundtrack for the movie! And what a fabulous request that was by you, John!! I caught a glimpse of you waiting on line as well. Too bad they didn't use any of the footage from interviews of us outside - I guess we weren't all that interesting

I was not implying that he sounded that way during the shows.
