I am not a big fan of baseball but I love cathcing games in other cities. I love checking out the local concessions and seeing the local teams traditions and cheers. I am visiting another park over labor day that I have never been too. What parks have you seen a game at?

1. Shea Stadium/Citi Field

2. Yankee Stadium/s

3. Philidalphia Philies Vetran Stadium

4. Baltimore Oriels

5. Boston Red Soxs

7. Chicago Cubs

8. Minnesota Twins Target Field

9. Atlanta Braves

Sadly I've only been to two so far:

Skydome, Toronto

Wrigley Field, Chicago

I tried to get tickets for a Red Sox game at Fenway Park shortly before a game once but no luck unfortunately.

I haven't been to many, either.

Major League teams:

  • Wrigley Field (Cubs)
  • Comiskey Park (White Sox)
  • US Cellular Field (White Sox)
  • Miller Park (Milkwaukee Brewers)
  • Busch Stadium #1 (St. Louis Cardinals)

Minor League teams (team names, only):

  • Kane County Cougars
  • Madison Muskies

But yeah, it is fun to check out the local atmosphere.

I used to travel a lot for work and would always try to hit a game (any sport) when I was away -- but rarely managed to actually do it.

Candlestick Park

AT&T Park

Oakland Coliseum

Angel's Stadium

Tiger Stadium

Comerica Park

Shea Stadium

Wrigley Field

(New) Comiskey Park

Fulton County Stadium

Coors Field

Camden Yards

I guess my list is ok, but probably half of what it should be. And nothing like one of my friends' list -- he's been to every MLB field (just finished it this summer) and all but 2 or 3 NFL stadiums (which I think he's going to get to this year). Very jealous of the guy -- single, of course. :lol

Fulton County Stadium

Riverfront Stadium

Fenway Park

Yankee Stadium (old)

Shea Stadium

County Stadium (Milwaukee)

Camden Yards

Veterans Stadium

Arlington Stadium

Of the 9 I have been to, only 2 still exist (Fenway and Camden Yards). I was looking recently at the ages of MLB ballparks. Fenway and Wrigley are obviously the oldest. The third oldest? Dodger Stadium, 1962.

Kaufman Stadium, which I still consider a newer park, is the sixth oldest. Gotta change my thinking.

New old Yankee Stadium 1976 4th game of 76 Series

Fenway Park 1966 Tony C hit homer and Boog Powell hit three

Shea Stadium 1968 also 7th game of 86 Series

Camden Yards 1992 Boggs homerun

Fulton County Stadium 1993

Jacobs Field 2003

Minute Maid Park 2008

Wrigley Field 2010

PNC Park 2012

US Cellular Field 2012

Miller Park 22012

I've been to four

1. Wrigley

2. Kaufman - A big pleasant surprise, and this was before the recent improvements.

3. Metrodome - ugh...

4. Met Stadium (Twins stadium before dome). I was 5, I don't really remember it. I seem to remember relief pitchers coming from the bullpen in a convertible.

As I type this Roger Clemens is on Baseball Tonight pitching for the independent league. WTF??

Clemens is now a Skeeter, a Sugar Land Skeeter that is!

Fenway - Everyone must go there once

Dodgers Stadium - Dodger Dog and a beer.. Doesn't get much better.. But lock your car doors..

Tigers Stadium - Too young to really remember

Wrigley Field - Getting to see Harry Caray sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" was all that really mattered.

Turner Field - Nothing special but I was once a huge Braves fan.

Royals Stadium (Kauffman) - I'm from KC so I went there a lot as a child. Gotta love the fountain and waterfall display.

I know there a couple more that I went to when I was very young but I can't recall them.

Out of all the parks I have been to, Kaufman was the best (post improvements). In terms of price, views, stadium amenities, food. It was all around the complete package. It really is a gorgeous place to watch a game. It is unfortunate that the baseball is not very good there.

Well they played great against the White Sox this past weekend (or one can say the Sox stunk up the joint). I always enjoy watching the games at Kaufman on TV - which different thread in itself, I guess.

The only parks I have been to are the three (past and present) Chicago ones.
