mpolak21
Thanks for that! Certainly a different arrangement than what I'm used to hearing. Glad you liked it, it's used very well in The Big Lebowski. Semi-related, my personal favorite use of the Stones in a film is:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcx0slK4FfE  You'll never catch me because I'm fucking innocent. Nice to see Saint Of Me pop up, I do like Bridges To Bablyon, especially Keef's Thief In The Night and How Can I Stop.  My faves:Tumblin' DiceHonky Tonk WomenLovin' CupCan't You Hear Me Knockin'Brown SugarBefore They Make Me RunGimme ShelterSwayAll Down The LineMoonlight Mile How can I leave out:Dead FlowersSweet VirginiaRocks OffSalt Of The EarthYou Got The SilverMidnight Rambler (live in '69)Wild HorsesYou Can't Always Get What You Want And if covers count:Ain't Too Proud To BegCry To MeDown The Road ApieceRoute 66 and on and on... Sweet Papa Crimbo
Saint of Me is a good one - esp. live. I was going to include it on my list, but any song that Keith doesn't play on is hard to put on ROLLING STONES list.
calvino
Ol' Crow, quit being such a stickler ---- he didn't play on Moonlight Mile either - should that be off anybody's list, too? (now I have a taste from some Old Crow...)

Probably the last great Stones song.
calvino
Difference being Saint of Mewas going to be on my list. Probably the last great Stones song. Got it, I guess. But does Keith have to play on a Stones song in order for it to be a "Rolling Stones'" song? And I agree, nothing off of A Bigger Bang or those couple of songs on Forty Licks are better than Saint of Me. I still hold out hope of something great by these guys, though. Reckless, abandon hope, I know.
Shug
(now I have a taste from some Old Crow...) Â "...to go back to the bar and drink some Old Crow, I kept on my smoking jacket, she took off my romeos.."Â Â Just reminded me of this song. Now back to the Stones thread! augurus
While the Rolling Stones carry an amazing discography brimming with excellent songs, I'm still sad that this thread hasn't shown enough variance for people to honor Let It Loose. Now, excuse me as I execute this pun entirely.
