I'm curious where you're hearing this in later work.

Recently posted youtube videos on this forum.  I can't pinpoint the exact video.  It could be the new-found clarity of his voice combined with his always present accent that makes the accent more prominent to my ears.

If you are burned out on Wilco than you should post on another board!

False.

MORE LIKE SENOR SELF RIGHTIOUS AM I RIGHT

Senor Wrongtious, maybe.

Pretty strong statement for only 20 something posts. ;) I'm sure you've been a fan for a long time, as many on this board have been but you'll have to realize one thing. This board is a group of people who share, state, ask, enlighten, fight, help and a bunch more I don't have time to list. They come here for a number of reasons and the most common is probably our love of Wilco. Burn out can happen with anything and when it happens you shouldn't let it stop you from being involved in something as BAD ASS as the this board or, more importantly, the people that make up this community.

Having said all that, Bjorn, you hit the nail on the head with the way I feel. That Maslow dude knew his stuff! Ha

the other night I finally got B to watch I'm Trying to Break Your Heart.  I started to try to keep count of how many scenes there were of Jay when he did not have a cigarette in his mouth.  then I forgot.  there weren't many.

I've always wanted a patio with a nice home-made rocking chair on it.  I would build one if I didn't think it would get eaten by mosquitoes, and if I had any talent at woodworking.  Maybe I'll commission the almighty foxwell.

Hell, I have a rocking chair that I'm getting rid of selling. Next time you visit the west burbs of chitown, lemme know.

Hey man I like rocking chairs too.

Great, I'm ok with bidding wars.

You're obviously off your rocker.

Nah, I have two, need to cut down to a reasonable level of one rocker around the house.

Listened to the 2nd Loose Fur record on the way to work today. It sounded really great.  Recorded n 2003 and 2006, the same time period as my two fave Wilco records. Just odered both Loose Furs on lp when I got to work today.

But seriously, there is so much great music around, both new and old, that no one needs to stick only with Wilco. Besides, I bet the band wouldn't want it any other way.

It takes many people a lifetime to learn that they can relate to bands and their music in any way they please and no one can say them nay.
