Albert Tatlock
http://edition.cnn.com/2013/01/08/showbiz/celebrity-news-gossip/jeff-garlin-curb-your-enthusiasm-ew/index.html ......Beginning this Thursday, the funnyman will add "podcaster" to his resumé when "By the Way, In Conversation" with Jeff Garlin debuts on the Earwolf Podcast Network. As its name implies, the show features Garlin yakking it up with a series of notable acquaintances .........Who else do you have coming up on the podcast? We've got Lena Dunham, Jeff Tweedy... Wait, you've got Jeff Tweedy from Wilco?Yes. It went down great. I just love the guy. That was a great interview. He was nothing but witty. Who else? I've got Michael Moore. Mitch Hurwitz. Sarah Silverman. Judd Apatow. Garry Shandling. He was really funny. Hysterical.......
mpolak21
Nice, looking forward to that coming out.
Albert Tatlock
Also, only 800-odd views and added recently, so maybe people haven't seen this.
EatMorePez
Here's the link for the "By The Way, In Conversation with Jeff Garlin" page at Earwolf.com: http://www.earwolf.com/show/by-the-way-in-conversation-with-jeff-garlin/ Only the first episode with Larry David is up right now, no idea when the Jeff Tweedy episode will be posted though. Magnetized
If the interview with Jeff is even half as entertaining as the one with Larry David we're in for a treat. It was so loose and unstructured and funny. By the way, you all probably know this already, but you can subscribe to the podcast for free through iTunes and just get new episodes downloaded automatically. uncool2pillow
Garlin just tweeted that the new podcast is available: http://twitter.com/jgarlin/status/291368806679445506 But on iTunes it only has ep. 1 available.
worldrecordplayer
The newest show out this week with Lena Dunham is fantastic. Garlin absolutely loves her. Can't wait until the Tweedy show drops.
Magnetized
What I've really enjoyed about these Jeff Garlin podcasts is how truly conversational they are. They're not interviews so much as genuine conversations, and Jeff Garlin is such an enthusiast. He's not afraid to interrupt his guests with stories of his own, and then you get to hear unpredictable responses from the guests, when they go "off message." I think it bodes well for an entertaining hour with the Jeffs!
Magnetized
It's up as of this morning! Listening to it right now.
Albert Tatlock
Had heard the first 10 mins or so before somehow/somewhere, but now it's on to the good stuff ...Spending a nice lunchtime in banter corner, though not warming particularly to the host. Seems a bit too much of a "If I swear it's enough to make it funny" type of comedian.
choo-choo-charlie
I'm really enjoying this. Really funny stuff.
Lotti
Story of Danish response is true showing of their character and it is fierce wasting of the schnapps to disappear in their glughole. Believe! Welfare!
LouieB
Can someone send a link on this or is up on ITunes? Do they talk about their Chicago connections? LouieB

worldrecordplayer
Can't wait to listen to this! His first two with Larry David and Lena Dunham are priceless. This hasn't hit my podcast subscription on my phone yet, but will be checking...
knotgreen
If at all possible, I think I love Jeff even more after listening to this.

Cold as Gasoline
Ditto!! Made my night! Mine too! I physically hugged my laptop more than once (hanging head in shame).
Magnetized
I listened to it really early in the morning while getting ready for work and then again in the car driving home. It's even better the second time--I was grinning from ear to ear. Seriously, isn't it great being a fan of such a wonderful guy?
uncool2pillow
Very entertaining. Garlin got more outta Tweedy than anyone I've ever heard.
worldrecordplayer
hmmm, I'm going to have to give it another listen, because I was disappointed with it the first time. The Larry David and Lena Dunham interviews were outstanding, and after listening to those my expectations for Tweedy were off the charts. But I didn't like a lot of the subject matter (poop stories are not my thing) and for being such good friends I never thought they got in a good groove on any topic. Seemed choppy and all over the place subject wise. I must have wanted to hear more about the songs, the song writing process, live on the road, life in the band, Jeff's general outlook on all things. Didn't get enough of that. It had its moments, but had a lot of "eh" moments as well. Like I said, there were no "eh" moments in the Larry David or Lena interviews. I'll give it another listen. Shakespeare In The Alley
i dont know if its fair to compare a garlin/david interview to a garlin/anyone else interview, given the insane amount of chemistry those two have built up over the years on curb. that being said i havent had time to listen to any of these yet

Garlin hangs at his house, talks about being in Tweedy's basement and hanging with his family. So there's definitely a personal history (Garlin's from Chicago), not as much as with Larry David, but a lot more than with Lena Dunham.
aricandover
The poop stories and stuff about hate were the best parts of the interview.
