Bosco
Farm Aid 2010 had over 35,000 in attendance, the "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear" had 215,000, does that count?
anthony
Well, I'll be damned. .Immediately after the sale date, I emailed Largo to complain about the ticket fiasco and they put me on a 'wait list' in case duplicates get worked out. Sure enough, they emailed me today and asked if I still wanted tix. So, now I have both Santa Barbara and Largo!
radiatortunes
Hey, that's great! I hope other VCers who got shut out get that email as well.

Muzzle of Dan
Tweedy and co. should take a note from Colin Meloy. Ticket presale was done through Colin's website; and I got tickets for his solo show at The Fonda purchased and processed by 10:06AM today with no hassle. I know the Fonda is definitely bigger than Largo, so the comparison is not entirely equal - but I have to say that The Fonda is a pretty small place overall and it was one of the easiest ticketing experiences I've had in quite some time. Sounds seamless. However the Tweedy show will still be tons better

The Inside of Outside
This makes me very happy! At first, I thought, "Why is someone in VA so happy about the opening act in Santa Barbara?" And then I remember - it is Wilco Me, and she goes cross country to see Jeff/Wilco. It all makes sense!

And then I remember - it is Wilco Me, and she goes cross country to see Jeff/Wilco. It all makes sense!I haven't completely lost my marbles! Yes, I'm doing a 4-night run starting at UC Davis and finishing at Santa Barbara, but I'm also visiting my niece who lives in San Francisco, getting to spend time with Wilco friends old and new, and planning a fun roadtrip from SF to Santa Barbara along the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway. With an airfare less than $300 and a free place to stay, is that such a crazy vacation plan? And Scott McCaughey is definitely a nice addition.
Jcamp
The Fillmore shows have an 8pm start with doors at 7pm. Any thoughts on when the earlybird line should start arriving ? I'm due to arrive Wed at 1pm. Should be checked in and out and about by 3pm .....
Jcamp
I'm hoping to become more acclimated to Scott McCaughey's music. Aside from the Young Fresh Fellows & Minus 5; any other predictions of what will be on his setlists?

kidsmoke
Hey Joe, do get some Baseball Project...that's Scott, Peter Buck, Steve Wynn & Linda Pittmon, and Mike Mills too these days, he's a recent addition to their lineup. It's great stuff! Songs about baseball, but you don't particularly have to be a baseball fan to appreciate them as the songs are strong on their own. I defy you not to sing along lustily, in 3-part-harmony, to "Ted Fucking Williams".
