The festivals for me are Newport and Lockn. Really looking forward to Newport, since I haven't been for about 13 years, and the lineup looks so good. Lockn looks to be a little hippie jam band-y for my taste, but it's geographically desirable and they've still got some major announcements to make.

The other big shows are Jeff Tweedy in DC and Baltimore and 2 nights of Phish in Portsmouth, VA. Sprinkled in are some other things I'm looking forward to for various reasons

The Zombies with Pat Sansone in Charlottesville

Aoife O'Donovan

Gogol Bordello

Kishi Bashi

Portugal the Man

Ingrid Michaelson

Oh, and not music, but very happy to be seeing Mike Birbiglia for the second time. If he's coming near you, don't miss him!

Going to try and catch Patty Griffin in Charlotte in June.

That'll probably be it for me for the year...  The last couple shows I have been to have sort of turned me off from concerts.  Tired of trying to watch the show over/around the cell phones. Tired of dealing with the inconsiderate, "every man for himself" attitude.  Maybe I'm getting older and less tolerant, but it just seems like the douchebag level has been rising higher and higher over the last few years..
