Magnetized
Thank you for posting....did not know.I know. It's not even on Wilco's FB page and they haven't been tweeting about it either. Wonder who's asleep at the switch?

linclink
nice. what song I wonder.I'm betting he does "Summer Noon"...think they often do more than one & end up with a bonus one online- I'd pull for a dark horse here, "Honeycombed" which just blew me away in Baltimore (D.C. too, but especially the Baltimore version...& overall I preferred the D.C. interestingly enough...) kidsmoke
Yeah, I think "Summer Noon" is a strong contender. I'd love to hear that. It's a gorgeous song that has really gotten under my skin.
TheSunCaughtFire
Given the amount of time normally allotted for musical spots, I'm guessing it won't be anything too long.
chisoxjtrain
Given the amount of time normally allotted for musical spots, I'm guessing it won't be anything too long. Wilco did Art of Almost on Fallon before.

Magnetized
Anybody seen the web exclusive? I'm betting it's Diamond Light.
IRememberDBoon
I had already heard the song like ten times when I played it from some show over and over but I thought this version was unreal and everything this music means to me.
The Inside of Outside
Web exclusive is High as Hello. Pretty good stuff.
linclink
I missed it live...know it'll be available tomorrow, but... the web exclusive is "High As Hello" (great choice!!), & he did "Summer Noon" on the show proper then? Is that right?

Heres'sTrickforyou
(Long time lurker, first time poster) Oh man, that performance of Summer Noon was just astounding. High as Hello was also really wonderful, but I was really itching to hear a live version of 'I'll Sing It'! For my money that is the best song that Jeff has written outside of Wilco. Regardless, wonderful performances all around! Sincerely hope 'Tweedy' gets some airtime on other talk shows.
Albert Tatlock
Oh man, that performance of Summer Noon was just astounding. Looks like I'll have to wait a bit for that to surface on YouTube hopefully, as the official sites have 'US only viewers' blocking my access.
worldrecordplayer
I stayed up to watch. Was hard to make it through the show, Fallon is just not funny to me.
theashtraysays
I saw Tweedy live, and watched the Late Night clip. But I gotta say, it just makes me long for the album where Jeff plays all the guitars. I've refrained from listening to the one-off songs so that I can hear the whole album when it comes out. And the live versions just make me want to hear Jeff's take on all that guitar work. These guys are fine, but... It's gonna be a long couple of months for me.
lost highway
Summer Noon sounded great. High as Hello might be the first one of these tunes that really does nothing for me. It might grow on me, but it just sounds plodding, vaguely funky and not a lot of great melodies to remember.
SarahC
I love that tune.
Albert Tatlock
This site wasn't racist and let me watch on an iPad http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/segments/9176
