  1. Remember, this is Neil Young we're talking about. The guy is perverse. He's finally found a way to release the Archives and piss of his fans at the same time. Genius!
  2. Thanks for sharing that. You really can't argue with his logic or motives, because Neil Young will be Neil Young. How can we expect him to behave any differently? That's why we love him. That's why he drives us crazy. Here's a link to the article. I enjoyed reading the comments.
  3. Rolling Stone: Are you in love at the moment? Bob Dylan: I'm always in love. Interview
  4. A good companion to The Smartest Guys in the Room.
  5. Oh, Kate, how very sad. I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts. *hug*
  6. I'm so sorry, Dunja. Please take good care of yourself.

  9. I agree. Too many to choose from. Half Wits from SCTV should be on the list as well.
  10. And I think Dave also played "Moonlight Mile" at the very end of the evening, as things were wrapping up.
  11. Happy birthday, Dave. It was great to be able to celebrate with you this year.
  12. Losing Nat was a reminder of the fragile beauty of life and friendship (take nothing for granted), and last night was a great way to celebrate the music that brought us all together. Many thanks to everyone who made it possible, and especially to Sue and Jeff. Jeff was probably cursing us for requesting so many covers, etc., but I really appreciated his willingness to be vulnerable and venture off the beaten path. (That's why we love him.) Heidi remarked that Jeff's covers are often better than the original performances of the songs, and for me, Jeff's "Dreaming" is the definitive version
  13. When I saw the full band a few years ago, they kept a cooler of beer onstage as a lure to get him out there.
  14. Awesome review. Thanks! The NP are more fun than a basket of puppies. And Kurt Dahle is a blast. I just love to watch him! [quote name='bb
  15. This is what 40 feels like. Happy birthday!
  16. Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. I was looking forward to meeting you.
  17. Very cool. I saw Gordie Howe at the White Spot in Coquitlam a few years ago. No autograph, though.
  18. Boycotts and bans: People power or pointless?
