Read that rain swept through --- plus it's Duluth, isn't it always cold up there? From the picture on the Wilco Facebook page, the crowd looked pretty decent. Looked like a great place to see a show - nice scenery. Over on expectingrain.com there some other decent pictures. http://expectingrain.com/discussions/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=76300

Listened to the show a number of times already - it's a good one. I am a subscriber, so I would be getting it regardless. I enjoy releases that I don't have or never heard of before, though.

LouieB surpasses Tweedy's Gurl - for old timers only.

I was at that Summerfest too, though not on this board - 2005 for me. -
That is a great shot - Weir does looks pretty healthy, too.

Nice to see Kamera - very nice set-list.

It seems that there was a shake up in Dylan's band too - Charlie Sexton is back - replaces Duke Robillard. This whole Americanarama tour has been pretty fascinating so far.

I would be fine if both of these were dropped -- I would rather hear Sonny Feeling or You Never Know. I remember hearing Born Alone for the first time in Fish Creek, WI at a Tweedy solo show, I thought the lyric I was born to die alone Alone was a bit cheesy. I probably haven't listened to SBS since last 4th of July - I will give it another listen this year. Can't remember the last the last time I listened to WTA. I always enjoy watching the DVD that came with the SBS deluxe.

Weir has been talking about Wilco for years, now - he's a fan, for sure. -
I did see Bob Weir and MMJ shows from June 26, 2013/ Cruzan Amphitheatre at Archive.org. So there's hope others will pop up. (Damn Dylan)

Thanks for the Bird Song link - really nice stuff. Nice to see Weir looking very good, too. -
Thanks for your thoughts. It does seem odd that Mills didn't play bass.

I like the idea of putting a different type of Star in between the Dark Star, too. -

Wow - hoping someone taped this. -
Nice shots of the gear - that would have been cool to see.

That FOTD had a little spring to its step - pretty good. Dylan use to play that tune, too - maybe on Weir's last date he'll play it with him. -
...on calories - Lammy You Fool! --- i think a little olive oil is involved too . Never made them, they were only made for me.

Perhaps some are getting too old to do all this fucking. I am 40 - two young kids - don't care either way. Tweedy does seem to worry too much about these things, though.

Definitely - though I am looking forward to Thompson. It would have been great to see Weir with Wilco. -
If you want to splurge on your diet, add a egg yolk, spices, and a little cheese, put it all in the middle of half off one(where the pit was) and bake for a while. Good stuff.

Don't forget an apple - VC's consensus are Pink Ladies. Thx.

Indeed he did - great version. -
Wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on Vandermark's performance - interesting gig for him.

I think someone will be sitting in with Dylan as the tour progresses, of course it may be the last show of the tour. As stated in another thread there is plenty of precedent in recent tours of people who were on the same bill sitting in with Dylan. I am guessing in Chicago, he will play 3 songs with Wilco backing - there I called it! -
It's been awhile for me too --- really wanted to listen to a ABB show - the bastards. I guess $3.99 a month isn't too bad, if you listen to it often.
