My brother and I use to watch that Spiderman - forgot all about that.

Me and my wife watched Babadook a few weeks ago -- it was well done and freaky as hell. No nightmares for me, but I think my wife had one. For about a week afterwards my wife kept saying Baba-DOOK.

The American League is a mess - who knows where the White Sox could end up - though I am guessing not in the playoffs. They are finally playing well, though - it's finally nice to be able to watch and root for them, without wanting to throw something. The "after you make a catch, you have to be able to take the ball out of you glove with control" rule worked in our favor, tonight.

Bit of goth eyeliner.

I guess that Ramble on Rose CD comes with the current/upcoming UnCut magazine.

See page 31 in this thread.

Plus he is a hoot to watch play live - which makes it fun in a live setting.

Yeah - out of all the 5 shows - that Black Peter was by far the biggest clunker.

This sounds like a cool project --- would be great if you share some pic's along the way. Guitar making, which I know nothing about - has always been fascinating to me. With regards to the thread -- I haven't played much at all as of late --- did write something, lyric wise, this week that sounds and looks good - but who knows what I will do with it.

Well crap, I really wanted to hear that 6/30/03 show. Did O'Rourke play a bunch of shows with Wilco - can't remember.. -
From a record company perspective - having the Pitchfork show streamed across the world is a good thing. Obviously, Solid Sound didn't have that exposure.
-
Do you mean that John and Pat are not on the record at all or that they share no songwriting/producer credits?
-
That's cool of them. Saturday's line up actually looks the best of the three. Lot of great musicians will be there on Saturday.

Definitely got more publicity doing it at Pitchfork, rather than Solid Sound, also the band may have not been ready - rehearsal wise - to perform it at Solid Sound; plus the record may have not been completely finished.

Keith's new single --- pretty good. Like Waddy's slide tone. Video is kinda cool, too. http://keith-richards.tumblr.com/post/124559414353/keith-richards-trouble

I only watched it once - but I seem to remember Glen taking an actual solo between two of the Star Wars' tunes -- while they were changing guitars and such. Could be wrong.

I was at one of my niece's b-day party over the weekend - my brother and brother-in-law discussed Back to the Future and its anniversary for about 15 minutes. I have watched the first one countless times over the years, but I don't think I ever watched Part 2 and Part 3 in their entirety.

Didn't realize you were visiting the Chicago area - at least I didn't think you lived up here --- Only made it to one of Fulks' Monday's shows - I know Louie and bbop has been to plenty. Hideout is a great venue. That night I saw Fulks, his theme was “Bitter Ex-Beatle Band Night” - - he performs songs like "How do you Sleep" and various solo 'bitter' Beatle songs - it was a fun night.

Agreed. Must admit though - I thought boys, in general, got the short shrift in the film --- I realize that the main character is a girl - but every time "feelings" and "boys" came up in the film, the boy's feelings were a bit empty and had zero depth. I guess I am talking about the ending and closing credits. Perhaps Inside Out, Two will have a boy as a main character. I guess I should mention I took my five year old son - so I am coming from that perspective. Both my son and three old daughter were thoroughly engrossed in the film, though, and my son kept talking about for it for long wh

I thought the below was funny:

Saw Inside Out with the kids --- it's a good one -- Sadness sure bugged the hell out of me - which was the point, I guess. Not sure if is my favorite Pixar movie, though. I think my favorite is Up - hard to pick though.
-
Black Sabbath's, Black Sabbath just came on the radio (XM)--- I think this my favorite metal tune - it has it all. Still remember getting the cassette when I was in grade school - I think it took me two or three trips to the record store to get it, due to the cover - it always freaked me and my friend out. Perfect cover.

Jagger's voice has changed a lot since the Exile sessions - so his overdubs didn't fit at all -- on the Some Girls overdubs it was less noticeable or at least not as out of place.
