Poll suggests McCain-Rice ticket could win big
Edie replied to Good Old Neon's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I think Condi would end up being poison to the ticket, given her role as national security advisor in the first admin and her role as secty of state in the second, given that the world view of us is at an all time low. He is trying to distance himself from Bush, wouldn't picking her be a lightening rod? -
What's the price of gas where you are?
Edie replied to Twisted Acres's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Paid $3.49 at the I90 oasis in Des Plaines. Like Wendy said, it's 20 or 30 cents more a gallon in the city. To fill up my Accord, it was just under $49. -
"Did you hear the crickets last night?"

Yes, and this was just from the LR shows. More money was raised at the actual event. While I wasn't there, I wouldn't be suprised if it wasn't another $15K or so. Jeff and Sue give us their time, energy and his musical talent (and the funnies, which is almost the best part) to bring a fabulous show to those fortunate enough to be there. Hopefully there will be a kick-ass audio recording for those not there so they too can enjoy such a great evening. Thanks again to Erin, Morgan (and their families) and of course Wendy for pulling this off -- and to US for donating our money to a great caus

Apparently he missed my earlier post when I suggested these NOT highly stitched, elaborate cowboy boots, rather just the right foil for his particular Nudie suit IMHO. Elaborate boots would be all wrong, and would clash with the suit. These look pretty comfortable and add a just dash of complementary color and is all that's needed. I'm out of the fashion business as of right this second though

I'm still in first, but the best I can do is 3rd (memphis) or 6th (KU). Still pretty good

Sorry for the delay. I slept late then had a bunch to do (and still do). Please let me know if I misspelled any names, though I know I am missing a couple. Also, it's possible that Radio Cure, Handshake Drugs and Via Chicago haven't been played solo. Can someone check and let me know. Letters for Santa Living Room Show 2008-4-5 Erin's Living Room 1. New SBD-AUD Matrix of Feb 16 Residency now avaialble
Edie replied to yltfan's topic in After The Show
I recall when OiNK had the rule that no AUD sourced recordings could be upped, which included matricies -- people made the same argument as above to no avail -
it was a lot of fun at the residency.

I suggested Lilli Schull to Alison, but I think its a no go

New SBD-AUD Matrix of Feb 16 Residency now avaialble
Edie replied to yltfan's topic in After The Show
I have heard more than a few Wilco matrices and I can say that this one does seem to have a lot of AUD mixed in. That said, it's still -
I might be able to make this. If I do, I'm coming as every "dead girl in car accident" song.

Is this show in the street, like Columbia???
