I dig the new song. Thanks very much for the heads up.

I suggested, once, that there should be a sub-forum devoted solely for people to shill their own stuff in, but the idea never took off.

If you guys want to make fun of my favorite movie instead, I'm cool with that. It's North by Northwest.

I think keeping self-promotion related things mostly in your sig is the way to go. People can click on it if they want, but you're not starting new threads. Of course, I may be the pot calling the kettle black...

I was searching for my first post here

I found my first post in the archives. It's pretty boring. -
This was one of my favorite books as a kid, and this looks fun. I'm hopeful.

The show on the 18th is sold out, according to Wilcoworld.

So, say what you will about Coldplay, but their latest video for Strawberry Swing is definitely one of my favorite music videos of all time. So that got me thinking to what my favorite music vids have been. So, in no order, here are some of my faves. Thriller - Michael Jackson Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel Let Forever Be - Chemical Brothers (Star Guitar is cool too) Once in a Lifetime - Talking Heads Just - Radiohead Fat + Smells like Nirvana - Weird Al Yankovic Window in the Skies - U2

I liked the Torchwood special a lot, and I'm looking forward to the last couple Tennant specials.

Apparently Spin (like many members here) believes that the album cover was shot on top of a roof.

You would probably get better responses if you didn't rip on Tweedy in your opening post. Strange as it may seem, there are probably some people on the board who don't think he's a tempermental prima donna. With regards to your question, I think Nels will eventually tire of lots of touring and want to get back to focusing on all his other projects. If you watched their DVD, you saw that every night Nels gives it his all and it's pretty brutal on his body. I don't know if that will happen in 1, 5, or 10 years, but thats my guess. I really don't think Tweedy minds at all that people like N

Yeah, I was disappointed by the Lips as well (not to say I didn't enjoy it), but I really dug Grizzly Bear's set.

I had floor seats, then the site stopped working for me, so I had to go back to the start of the process and there were no GA seats available anymore. Luckily, after 8 minutes of trying for them I was able to grab a ticket back up.

They were on with Christopher Walken, since there is a picture backstage with him.

I think history will end up judging beer as more important than cherry coke.
