Just an update: she went with the Privia 555R. Good piece of equipment for the price. The "drawbar organ" patches really need a rotary speaker sim though....
-
I found one too - in your C chord riffage, there isn't any 3rd fret power chord - it goes 4th fret (F#5) to 2nd fret (E5) to the D. Otherwise, sounds great. Pretty much the same a mine, but having that ringing D string on riffs 1 and 3 does make it sound much

I'm going to print it out, take it home, and try it out.

For Those of you with Prunes and Custard Pedal

That's an impressive collection. What amp do you play these through? -
Thanks man. Without having a guitar with me, I'm guessing that our versions have the same notes/chords, just yours is more accurately voiced.

That works fine as well.

"Stirratt, who has used Ampeg SVTs for as long as he can remember." He doesn't remember 5 or so years ago when he used an Orange? Question to the bass players - why do people use cabs with 10 inch speakers for bass? I'd think you'd want a 15 incher...

Cool, For the record this is based on the full band soundtrack version. Never heard Jeff do it solo.

Interesting - I wonder if he did a little extra relic-ing himself....

He played with a semi-hollow double cut bass with one single giant neck humbucker at Schuba's this past weekend. I dont know what model that was, but it was friggin gorgeous.

It looks like POG-> Tuner -> Fuzz Factory -> Whammy, but I can't be 100% certain.

I think all the production (non custom shop) guitars built after 1999 are Memphis Series.

How 'bout an Abba programme? Actually, I was messing around with this on a keyboard the other day (on the banjo patch) and mostly got it. I should be able to generate some guitar tab

Thanks Alex

How do you like those Super-90 pickups? Do you retain any twang? I've been thinking it would be cool to get a tele routed for a humbucker in the neck, but use a Super-90 in the bridge and a Z-90 in the neck, What band are you playing with at Bonaroo?

Dont you make ginandcigarettes all pissy again...

Those are purty - how does it sound?

It could also be a dobro flatpicked like a guitar. I'm fairly sure that the Being There version of either Someday Soon or Forget The Flowers has a dobro played like that.

The power supply could easily be a problem. Did the guy who modded it make it so it cannot be run on battery? FWIW, a lot of fuzzes are real finicky about how they are powered which is why you'll see a lot of them that only run on battery (and they typicaly prefer the cheap carbon batteries) If the battery is impossible, you might need a power conditioner, or just send it back to Zachary and get him to restore it to original specs.

Steve Vai?

What specific problems are you having, and what else is in your signal chain? (and what other pedal(s), if any, are you trying to use with the FF simultaneously?)
-
that Kamera sounds more like a full on distortion than an overdrive. Try the Dual Rec or maybe the Soldano SLO amp setting?
