  1. I agree with JorgeFabregas, 11 years old is well enough to stay home by yourself. Don't like, 11 year olds baby sit kids? (I don't know, I haven't been that age for 9 years). However she's got epilepsy but I don't really know how that effects things.
  2. I want to see Let It Be on DVD. One day... one day...
  3. I've used both the Motif and the S90 a lot and I have to say that the sounds are TERRIBLE on it. But that's just my opinion.
  4. Yeah because you know, it's just that easy. Never mind the equipment and all the hassle involved with that.
  5. This is correct. He talks about trying to get to Woody's house to get his unfinished songs, but Woody's wife wasn't home. He mentions that years later Wilco and Billy Bragg compose lyrics to these songs. He also remarks that he tried getting those lyrics before most of the band was even born.
  6. Finally got my copy in the mail. Shohola is awesome and the version of The Black Ram sounds much better then the version that leaked. I'm interested to hear what everyone else thinks. This is probably my favorite release of the year!
  7. I'd like to second this.
  8. You were with the larger (by larger I mean four or five) group of younger (highschoolish) kids??
  9. Looking forward to see the new Canucks uniform.
  10. Anyone remember the order of the soundcheck songs? I remember, in no order: Either Way Hesitating Beauty Bob Dylan's Beard When The Roses Bloom Again Too Far Apart and one or two other other SBS numbers. Grr, the Vancouver Sun cut me out of this picture.. I was just beside the girl with the hanker chief!
  11. Do you guys think an entire bootleg will surface?
  12. My favorite moments of the night: Richard Swift's banjoist/guitarist/keyboardist/'BGV'ist dancing on and off stage Jeff "working" the stage Jeff apologizing for being 'racist' The hand claps during Spiders and Jeff telling us that "Lord Stanley would be disappointed!" Pat's windmills!!

Ohh. I was sitting infront of the really annoying girls with the really shitty ipod speakers (I swear to God if I have to hear about how "omg Jenny Lewis is sooo amazing" one more time...), then I would have been just behind you when they moved the line.
  14. Richard Swift was impressive as well. I liked his encore jokes. Ohh Via Chicago was amazing.

Hmm, you were (before they moved the line) one of the first two guys at front that commented that they'd like to see My Morning Jacket live.. yes?
  16. Yeah!!! Ahh, I can't begin to explain how happy I am right now (first time ever seeing Wilco). I was right up at the front, between Jeff and John. I saw them soundcheck (what was this about a contest?! oh well, I could see if from the gate) Too Far Apart and I didn't even recognize it at first. They also soundchecked "When The Roses Bloom Again", "Hesitating Beauty" and "Bob Dylan's Beard" along with some SBS tunes. I'm brain dead, I'll write more tomorrow.
  17. Pretty cool, eh? I drew it in class. You'd be drawing dinosaurs too if you had "Music Publishing For The Internet" (which is an 8th grade level HTML/Flash course) at 8:30 on Monday morning.

    Tomorrow night!!!!
  19. I was just wondering, the other day, when we were going to get a new NY album.
  20. Honestly, coming to a new forum that you've NEVER posted at before and writing about your band is NOT a way to get fans, in fact, it's just going to piss people off. Contribute to the community a fair amount, and then ask us to listen to your band.
