I know of a few fans outside these walls, but the coolest has to be Sam from NYC. I was going to a Yo La Tengo concert in Boston and he was all like "oh, tell Ira I said hey if you're talking to him". Just like that, he KNOWS Ira. Love ya Sam!

The rest of the day was great music! I don't like them, but I thought I'd give them a chance live anyway since I was already there. They got about 30 seconds in to their first song and I bolted for the gate. They were positively horrible.

Good vibrations from Nova Scotia I know how scary that kind of thing can be. One of my best friends developed a blood clot in her leg while she was pregnant. She's out of the woods now, but we were all really worried about her for a while.
