Not sure if I've heard an acoustic version of that. If so, not with the string bending and 7th chord. That was nice.

Without trying to sound completely negative, I can totally understand anyone being bored at these shows. I think this will translate much better to recording than live show.

You better have a good reason for being up before 6:00 on a Saturday!

He does say the guy deserves a trial.

Ask Malala Yousazai if she thinks the Taliban are terrorists.

Hixter, I absolutely agree with you IF the worst allegations are proven in a court (martial) of law. Not having read too much about this, it seems like many are turning themselves in to prosecutor, judge and jury with scant evidence. It seems that the right wing media machine wants to declare Bergdahl guilty so they can declare Obama guilty and proceed ASAP with impeachment hearings.

Careful... The decisions of mods are not to be questioned here. You're treading into dangerous waters. Also, who's Jules?

I think the mix of acoustic/electric guitar and the vocal styles -- particularly background -- sounds a lot like T. Rex.

She and Mo Tucker should form a band with the Nuge.

The pilot is pretty much gold. Styx at the school dance and thw look of pure happiness on Lindsay's face as she dances. Nothing slow about that.

Remembering Memorial Day weekend caused me to look up Jay's death date. A bit surprised I'm the first one to note the 5th anniversary a day late.

He runs the Husker Du online database. Paul Hilcoff.

I'm pretty sure Rhett was out to prove they can still rock as they settle into middle age. I've taken my kids to a '97s show. I think he wanted to somehow show they're still "dangerous" or something. It's a decent album, but it's a small upward blip on a downward slide they've been on since Drag It Up. They still put on a great show, but I don't expect much great new material from them anymore.

A FB friend was at that show. Small world.

I was surprised no one listed Southeastern, then I thought maybe it came out late last year. Nope. Almost a year ago. Geez time flies.

Last time I saw him there maybe two dozen people there. It was in Des Moines, butbi can't imagine him selling out many venues these days.

LOVED that movie.

Really enjoyed the first season, especially the season finale. Very heartwarming.

Fantastic band. The fiddle player and the guitar/mandolin player were both absolutely fantastic vocalists as well as top notch musicians. This was a close to a pure bluegrass show (w/ drummer) that I've seen him put on.
