I'm kinda bummed to Bob Weir on my date. FOTD? Damn...

I just listened to the NYCTaper recording of The Cover Show and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Come on, Marquee Moon and Ripple alone were worth it. I am surprised at how well they played those tunes. I wonder how much they rehearsed.

Anyone on this board ever see Sublime live?
anthony replied to IRememberDBoon's topic in Someone Else's Song
I went thru a Sublime phase myself (right around 40 oz). I seem to have a foggy memory of catching part of one of there sets at a college. CSULB perhaps? Not too sure... (Budweiser induced amnesia, I'm sure). -
This one (surprisingly) hooked me from the get-go.

Jay Farrar (and Friends): New Multitudes

Old LA was the song that grabbed me at first, as well. This is a pretty solid record. Good old Woody still with the magic touch - even from beyond the grave. -

Enjoy your twenties, man. But make sure you stay on the path.

Very cool. Might have to make this one (even though I dis-like the drive to LA, the west side is quite enjoyable).

Oooh. Tour date in SD. Not a huge fan of House of Blues, but might make exception...

Great story for us gear nerds. The '61 D-18 is the one that hurts for me. Although I have played a D-18 GE and the are phenomenal.

Oh, this is good news.

I'll second the bone nut. I have had good experiences.

Not sure if this helps or hurts, but this maybe the explanation: http://frets.com/FretsPages/General/faq.html#ThirdFretIntonation

I am not sure if there any Venture Bros fans here, but they are back tonight after a (too) long hiatus. Here is a handy recap, in case you forgot whats going on.

this song might have single handedly won me over for Neil (well, that and Powderfinger, I guess).
